Drumpellier Golf Club
About
Located just east of Glasgow, Drumpellier Golf Club sits at the west end of Coatbridge. Since opening in 1894, it has become one of the area's most treasured courses. The layout is challenging but it's still player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The golf course's has a memorable finish, ending on two of its best holes. The par-4 17th is just 270 yards, giving big hitters the opportunity for a grand finish by reaching the green from the tee. Those who don't want to take the risk can play it safe and aim for the fairway. Drumpellier Golf Club's final hole, another par 4, tumbles downhill across slopes ranging from subtle to dramatic. Be careful of running out of the fairway or you'll face an even tougher approach to the well bunkered green.

Little gem
What a fantastic course. Great layout, superb condition considering the wet winter we have experienced and clearly a lot of care and attention is given to the course.
It is quirky, challenging but all in the right way and a wonderful course to play.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and have now booked it for an outing with friends
Well worth a visit
Really enjoyed my visit booked on a hotdeal at a bit of a whim the date before. Course was in great condition - loads of interesting and unique holes making the most of the land available. Great welcome at the club in the pro shop and members very friendly. Weather was outstanding which undoubtedly helped, but fantastic value for really interesting course very close to Central Glasgow. Very easy to forget it’s just off the M8 and not in the south of France - I’ll be forever calling it Montpellliayyy rather than “er” now. What could have been better? A net perhaps next to the putting green to hit a couple shots before heading out - do have an own ball range but it’s a trek down there across the 18th hole. The ball cleaners lacked any water to actually clean balls, worth a quick fill with the days being so hot! Can’t really fault it too much so trying to pick on very minor things - would highly recommend visiting on an off day for a round!
Good enjoyable challenge
Course was nice with some great par 3s. Some Par 4s were proper hits which is nice to use the whole bag of clubs.
For this time of year they have done well with their greens, im sure in peak season they will be very tricky putts as some great options for pin positions.
All members seemed very welcoming as well as the pro who was very nice.
Would like another go at it
Drumpellier

Excellent course. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish
Great
On arrival staff were friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent condition although a little busy pace of play was reasonable. There were numerous interesting and challenging holes for all levels of golfer. After golf a trip to a family friendly bar for food and drinks is highly recommended. Very enjoyable day of golf.
Friendly Welcome
First time playing the course I have moved into the area and trying out a few courses to see where I may end up joining. The guys in the shop are extremely welcoming for a first time visit. The course was in good condition, some of greens had some work done on them, but didn’t effect the way they would roll but otherwise the greens are excellent surface and could be tricky if they got them quicker. The layout of the golf course is very nice and a great variation of holes all the way round. The price you pay as a guest here is well worth it and would recommend a visit to anyone in the area looking for a change of venue.
Excellent condition and well worth the £30 paid
