Not for high handicappers
Well kept course, very good condition. If you are not down the middle you are in trouble, if you are prone to a shank take lots of extra balls as you will not find any in the rough all around the course. I found it very challenging, from the bunker placements, rough and the trees I really struggled. I would go back if I could get another hot deal but I don’t think I’d pay full rate. A decent golfer might enjoy it.
Golf day
Nice course hard but fair very good condition for the time of year
Very disappointed
Iv played this course before and know when it's fully. Opened its a great course. But to be charged £30 to play the course of forward winter mats and 5/6 winter greens was scandalous. Tried calling the club for 2 days before I booked it to ask about course condition couldnt get through to anyone. When turned up pro shop was closed. There wasn't any markers at the Tees or the mats so didn't notice the mats untill a member had told us about them after a few holes. While he was also giving us dogs abuse for not using a fairway mat that we also didn't know about.
If a course in this app is not fully opened it should notify us after we book it so that we can change the booking.
Future visit
Looking forward to seeing that framed photograph of our glorious King Charles next time lm home.
Holding up well with the weather
Playing somewhere new in the last week of October the course condition will always be a worry. No problems here though, able to play the ball as it lay on the fairway, no puddles or plugged balls,. Lengthwise some long par 4s some short so a good balance, short par 3s which give you every chance. Greens rolled well. Met a member (David) on the way round who joined me for a few holes and left a great impression for the membership. Criticisms......nope can't think of anything.
I can't say that the course itself is stunning or anything but as a good solid option at the price I paid, it's a very decent choice.
