The Preserve Golf Club

This was a course under new management, and the improvements are now showing. The greens are still somewhat soft, but very much improved, Sad for us, but now it will be more popular. Which is good for the course.

This would be a first class course with some attention. The layout is challenging and the greens vastly improved.

BUT, the fire ants are everywhere and the course needs to deal with that. Played on Saturday and got bit to no end by these antes. Pretty sure knee socks and a strong repellent might help.

Other than that , it’s a great bargain especially with HotDeals!

Good course, and the greens are really getting better. The course has made a big step in improving the gromming. Also, the new restaurant is very good.

The greens are getting better but unbelievably slow due to them being sanded. The Tee bows could be better but the fairways are lush. The layout is challenging. Lots of wildlife.

Look, it’s not Pebble Beach but you can’t beat the price for practice rounds.

Y’all started getting the course looking nice, now it looks like a pasture. Full of red ant hills, knee high weeds, tee boxes are nothing more than a dirt patch with a few weeds.

The greens need cutting, fairways need work..Would not take much to get this course back where you could charge more and get more people to come back...Staff was super nice...

Boy, was i pleasantly surprised! Last time here was in 3/2023. WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!!!! The tees boxes are no longer sand...getting better! Fairways are good, with a few bare spots due to amount of rain the area has received. Greens were punched 2-3 weeks prior to my visit...they're good, but with expected bumping. But I like my rule of automatic 2 putts. Will come back again. Keep up the fantastic work.

Don’t play here this course should be shut down until they finish fixing it, read a few reviews it was getting in better shape and that’s crap

Course greens are now aireated and are improving, they are slow due to being punched but improving.

The course is improving a little every week they aerated the greens and actually put it better than they put it before with the holes still has a ways to go before it’s actually a premier golf course which it could be

The course is gradually improving. The greens have been redone, arriated, and are now taking hold. Business is slow until the greens get better and they get more recognition.

I Have been coming to the preserve for the past month and have had nothing but a good time. I have noticed overall course improvements every single visit. The effort is clearly there to get the course in great shape in time for season. There is no better value in the Bradenton area.

Have been golfing here for a month as a beginner. Every visit shows promising progress. There isn’t a better value to go golf in the area. Beautiful layout and a dedicated staff that have been working hard on improving the course.

Have been coming to the preserve for just about a month now and the weekly even daily progress has definitely been noticeable. The effort into getting the course into top shape is seen every visit. Bonnie Jean is a great place to grab a snack before heading out for the back 9. There isn’t much better golf for the price you will be paying.

I came by today for the first time to check out the course. The front 9 was closed today so everyone was on the back. Not crowded by any means, but the greens are simply unplayable. Dead grass, patches and fault lines, and even lawn clippings are littered all over. The course is under repair and this is not a true golfing experience right now. I paid 25 on a hot deal and feel cheated. I’d play manatee golf course or river run a hundred times before I’d play this course again in its current condition. It’s a shame, because the layout is really neat and you can see a skeleton of what at one time may have been an Outstanding golf course.

First time playing here in a few months and they’re back to regular greens but they’re still not good but way better than it was. If they get get the greens in good shape this course has so much potential to be a great course
