Hidden gem
What a beautiful layout, practice area and clubhouse. LPGA Members were fortunate enough to be able to play this course several times throughout the summer. Missy the Club Pro as well as Marlene in the pro shop were very friendly and accommodating. The course is well laid out and in awesome shape. A nice challenge for a variety of handicaps. Attention to detail and social distance guidelines were in place. Great little snack shack on the turn. If you ever have the opportunity to play this course it’s well worth it! Thank you Tara!
Top 3 nicest courses in Manatee County
FUN layout/ Well manicured/ Greens are perfect and actually ROLL unlike most courses in the area. Aesthetic critique is all the houses and condos surrounding the course.
Very nice
Tara is one of my favorites . It is the private course not the public one that has a similar name. The practice facility is excellent it was just redone last year. The fairways are very nice compared to other clubs in the area.
The bunkers contain good quality sand and plenty of it. The greens run true and are quick. The greens have some undulation but not severe.
It has a few holes that you must play over water and or marsh which make it challenging. It is a fun course , but fair , no tricked up holes with several sets of tees.
I highly recommend it.
