Lake Worth Beach Golf Club

In general I would recommend this course as a great option and have referred to it as the best municipal course in this part of South Florida- but it is in awful condition as they continue to let people play it after it rains. I was shocked it was in such bad shape. They have an LOTof maintenance to do before it’s worth playing again.

The course should not have been open, was in horrible conditions and didn’t find out until I got there that the front line was closed. We’ve had a lot of rain, but I don’t know why they opened it. I never so much standing water on this course and I’ve played it probably at least 20 times.

Best deal for local golfers despite recent weather

Terrible condition- so wet it should not have been open- balls plugging on fairways !! Greens in very poor shape- like putting in treacle !!

Never played on this date. Course was too wet. Front nine was closed and the back nine should have been closed as well

When we arrived, we were informed that it was cart-path only. They should have said that several holes (especially #1) were virtually unplayable because of the casual water.

What usually is a relatively easy course turned into a nightmare because of the muddy condition of many of the fairways.

My buddy and I managed to have fun anyway, and we didn't pay a lot to play...I hope the course will be more honest about the playing conditions in the future.

For the price not a bad course, but I won’t be returning. Greens were thicker than the fairways. Course was basically flooded out, making play on most holes very hard. We had to skip the first 2 holes as they were unplayable. I would’ve rather gotten a refund beforehand and tried to play somewhere else than be okayed to play. I imagine it’s in better condition in the drier months, but who’s to say. Overall underwhelming experience.

You won’t find a better value in South Florida. If they had a driving range you’d see a higher rating but subsequently a higher price tag.

Course was in great shape and the staff was amazing

This is my first time playing and had a great time and it’s a really nice course with a spectacular view along the intracoastal waterway. The only suggestion I would have is they need a few more places to either be able to get a refill on your water because it was boiling hot out or they need some cart girls driving around with beverages.
