About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Need updated Info
Front 9 was closed due to “sanding” the greens.
Had to play back 9 twice..
Course in good condition, but pace was very slow due to
front 9 closed. Need to somehow convey info to customers before purchasing.
One of the top muni courses in Florida!
Cypress Head never fails to impress. It'sca great layout, in fine condition with challenges aplenty! The staff is fantastic and the amenities are good. It is truly a great value when compared to other options in the Daytona Beach area. Give Cypress Head a try! Enjoy!!
Awesome Course!
Great design, tons of doglegs, difficult tee shots, fairways and greens in the excellent shape. Need a cart person to offer snacks or have more of a selection on the turn to grab something. Other then that is was awesome, first class facility!
My Go to Course
This is the best course in the area by far. I play here every time I visit my family. On this outing, the greens were much slower than I remember. I will return. Very fair course, fairways awesome as well as the bunkers. Pace of play was stupid FAST went around, 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Never waited anywhere on the course. The staff could not have been more pleasant. Just go!
Great layout
Absolutely loved the layout. The front nine feel more difficult than the back, where the course seems to open up a lot more with some cool hills and water features. The back to back 3s on the front and then 5s on the back are very fun.

Even during the summer top dressing it’s a pleasure to play Cypress Head Golf Club.
Great condition, greens are a little slow but understandable, After the winter they had. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed it
Strange name Wonderful course
You can not find a better public course in the Daytona Beach area!

Nice course to play when I come down to New Smyrna.
Was going to play Venetian Bay when I first arrived, but decided against after reading reviews on poor course conditions. Decided to play Cypress and it turned out to be a good choice. Conditions were dry as they are everywhere in FL, but the course was still in good playable shape. They have some water on quite a few holes that challenges my playing ability and they have a few forgiving holes that help my score stay respectable. All the staff were friendly and things seem well run there. Will play again sometime.
Good public course
This course is my favorite to play in the area. It is a good facility that's in good shape. The course has a good mix of challenging holes and also some that are forgiving. Pace of play was good
Great Track
Really enjoyed this course. Definitely worth the drive. Course was in excellent condition. The green were a little slow, but putted true. Pace of play was good until we ran into a couple of member groups. Still played in 3 1/2 hours. 1 1/2 hours on the front, 2 hours on the back. Will definitely play again.
