Indian River Preserve Golf Club

Price of the round was a great value. Course conditions were generally good overall. Great staff and restaurant. I will be back and hopefully the minor issues on the course are being corrected by the grounds crew.

This is a difficult course made even harder by the fact that the rough was 4 to 5 inches deep…hard to find the ball …..you’re either on the fairway. You’ve lost the ball in the rough. You’re in the water or you’re in the jungle so it can be kind of challenging. There’s new construction that’s messed up hole number nine, but if you have never played there and like a challenge, it’d be worth doing.

Played this course several months ago and was in much better shape. This time tee boxes were not mowed, completely blind tee shot for par 3 12th hole, and bunkers with weeds in them. The greens rolled true which was the best aspect of the course.

GREENS NEED CUT, OR EVEN BETTER REPLACED.

GRASS OVER GROWN IN PLACES THAN DIRT EVERYWHERE ELSE .

I LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY AND NEVER SEEN THE PLACE LOOK SO BAD. EVERY HOLE HAD SOMETHING WRONG.

NOT ONLY THE COURSE BUT THEY HAVE YOU HITTING AROUND CONSTRUCTION OFF A T MAT. I WOULD HAVE LOVED A HEADS UP BEFORE PLAYING . WONT BE RETURNING .

Had a great time. Perfect weather, finally course is drying out. We have had so much rain every course has struggled.

This course is doing absolutely nothing to repair or work on anything except watch builders build homes all over the course. Just waiting for the out of business sign. Reminds me of royal oak and bent oak.

Wow. So different from a couple months ago when the course was in pretty good shape. Not sure what's going on. Super high rough and fairways we're not mowed. Looks like allot of rain impacted the course. Recent arefication and sand on greens without notice. Blind par 3 tee shot. Significant overgrowth in front of some tee boxes. Hope it's just a maintenance issue. Nice course when it's right. Might wait a little on this one.

I played the round by myself and got thru 16 holes before the thunder nearby sent me home. The course was in pretty good shape but an a lot of holes the white senior tees were next to the blues. At 79 years old I'm lucky if I can get near the green in regulation from the normal whites so I played from the reds. My only other criticism is the length of the rough was so long that finding a ball was really hard. I've been playing this course since it opened and since was Noone catching up too me I found as many balls in the rough as I lost.

Course is in terrible shape they have construction of houses being done on hole 9. Place used to be really nice it’s sad to see.

Great course in excellent condition for this time of year. Will delay again.

Hard to find 10 tee box, hole 13 blind par 3, brush overgrown, hard to see top of flag. Hole 17 i drove past tee box.

Florida on the summer is always hot. This day was no exception. After a warmup on the range, the putting green and the first hole my jug was empty. There is aw water point between 1 and 2. Not even a jug for water. 2 holes later the beverage cart came by. Was told there was no water on the course due to a new state law. They would provide 2 20oz bottle, one for the front and one for the back. After a 3 hour front 9 we were done. Made my grievance at the pro shop. They said it was a new state law about courses having water available. I researched and found the only law is they would fall under OSHA guidelines and maintain cleanliness of the jug and water. My guess is they don't want to do that and find it cheaper to give everyone 40oz of Members mark water and call it a day. I played 3 other courses since then, all of which provided water on the course. I always liked the course layout but I will not be back unless the round is free and I get to bring my cooler with me.

COURSE SEEMS TO LACK ENOUGH STAFF

& DOING BARE MINIMUM INCLUDING MOWING GRASS & KEEPING FAIRWAY ROUGH PROPERLY CUT. COURSE HAS AMAZING POTENTIAL YET WHEN YOU CANT FIND BALL IN BASIC ROUGH OR EVEN IN FAIRWAY MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO PLAY. EACH STAFF WORKER WERE TRULY ALL WONDERFUL INCLUDING PRO SHOP, STARTER TO THEIR RESTAURANT(FOOD REALLY GOOD EACH TIME EATIMG THERE.

Definitely getting better, but still needs a little love. Greens looked better but didnt roll true at all. Too many bad spots, needs a good sanding. Rough is too thick, this isn't Oakmont CC. Staff is always very nice and friendly. The restaurant is excellent. Love the course layout. Its begging for a little more love, this used to be one of the best courses around.

First off, if you come here then you need to bring a cooler with lots of water in it. The course does not put out coolers for the players and it is hot. They said it was a new law (which it’s not a law at all to not be allowed to provide water jugs for golfers). It took us 2 hours and 45 minutes to play the front 9 with the group in front of us. No Marshall anywhere to be found. We had to complain and ask for a rain check for the back 9 because it was even more bottled up at the turn. We will be giving those to a family member that lives close by that course as we’re not interested in returning.

The greens are the slowest greens I think I have ever putted on and they are very soft as well. You could see spike marks from the golfers in front of us and we had to continuously stamp down drag marks and blemishes on the greens. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and the bar and restaurant are both good with great priced drinks and food.
