I ve been playing for 60 years and in the R.D. for 40 years. Would give the course an excellent rating except for the bunkers. Many were hard packed gravel/sand. Some had proper sand. The range is a little rough but good for warming up. Greens were very good and faster than others in Punta Cana. WIDE Fairways are cut short, never had a bad lie. Good tee choices for the length you want to play .

You won't find a better deal for twice the money in this area.

Played with my brother in the midday and the course was in excellent shape. I would play the course again.

Staff is excellent. Exceptional deal on GolfNow. Greenfee, electric cart, range balls, drinks included. Range is short and a little rough . The fairways were great and cut as short as some greens in the DR. Greens were excellent and fast . Tee biomes very good . Some traps has nice sand but some were gravely and hard packed. Overall great round. In this area good value for twice the money.

This was my second trip to the Majestic Mirage with access to Punta Blanca -

here is the good

- staff, they were amazing especially the shuttle staff, starters and club cleaner - Francisco was outstanding.

- pace of play

- course, fairways and greens are 10/10

- staff again!! very friendly, greens crew very professional and friendly.

here is the bad

- bunkers - rocky and hard, some were borderline unplayable

- some of the tee decks

Overall, awesome experience and I hope to return.

Punta Blanca is not a fancy resort course. But then again, it doesn't charge fancy resort prices. If you want to play a course that is sufficiently challenging, in good (not great) condition, with medium quick greens, PB is worthwhile and, at least for us, we'll worth the time and cost.

Course is poorly maintained, range balls looked like all the lost balls, various brands, muddy and the range was on tilted. Traps were mostly gravel and either no rake or at one trap, 18 inches with a broken handle. Staff were not golf professionals, and the pro shop was a joke. Boasted a food and drink at the turn, It was a single slice of “meat” and cheese on white bread and your choice of Coke or water. Wouldn’t recommend this course.

Showed up 45 minutes only, they wouldn’t let us in the golf course unless we paid them $20 for a taxi which is a 20 second walk from resort. So had to walk back the long way to resort, then call there “special taxi”. Ended up being on time while waiting to check in, no one was in a rush to help stood 9 minutes and then was told we’re two minutes late for tee off so we couldn’t do anything else.

Then we had to rent 1 set, of course all the cheaper selection was unavailable so spent $70 American for crappy clubs x 2. $140 American for two crappy sets. Could have shared

Played at hard rock and complete different from customer service to food and drinks.

This course only comes with water, so come prepared with your own drinks.

Would only recommend if you have your golf clubs already and your ok with a fun round for your money, if not look elsewhere

Course was not busy, despite beautiful playing conditions. Driving range is only 200 yds so you can use any club that goes farther than that. There was no one out ahead of us but weren’t allowed to tee off early unless we paid a large sum. Once on the course we caught up to a backlog quickly (hole 5) and the round was 5+ hours in total. Course was in decent shape, greens were good. Rental clubs were good. $60 USD for Taylormade or Titleist set.

The greens are better than most courses in the area. The tee boxes could use a little work. The beer cart never shows up till the 8th or 9th hole.
