About
The Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay is situated along the white sand shores of the stunning mangrove-lined Macao Beach, conveniently located near the Punta Cana International Airport. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the golf course is yet another outstanding design in his repertoire. Nicklaus carefully preserved the rich natural surroundings to ensure that the beauty of the Dominican landscape was kept at the forefront. The layout's rolling fairways and greens weave through native flora and fauna, providing golfers with a truly unique round in a tropical setting. There are expansive lakes that come into play on several holes as well as numerous strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Great resort course!
Great resort course if you can get a hot deal on golf now, course was in pretty good condition, good overall value.
Winter Golf
Great track but tough greens. Need to play this course a few times to learn the undulations of the greens.
Good track if you can get for under $150
Nice layout , fairways in very good condition
February in Punt Cana
Course was great. Staff was polite and helpful I may have enjoyed the complimentary drinks a little too much for my game. My wife and I played as a twosome with no-one in front or behind us. The sub four hour round was incredibly relaxing.
Decent track
Good track if you can get the round for around $120 USD. Better then other courses in the immediate area
Good Course Friendly Staff
Overall the course was nice. Slightly challenging, greens rolled well. Range balls included in the price as were food and drinks which was awesome. Plenty of tee box options for all skill levels. Would happily play it again.
Worth Playing
Totally enjoyed playing this course. Great layout. Strong holes. Only pace of play became an issue. That however is not a fi ed problem. Pi ked up last five holes.
If you get a deal. Course is well worth a playing
Around $125 would be a great deal for this course

Good and Hot
Played at 8:40am. The course was in great shape...... Other than the 1st green. They must of had a chip off or something similar and it was balled marked bad. Once past the 1st hole the greens were great. This has always been one of my favorites here in the DR. But it was HOT!!!
8 people in a group?
Not sure how it happened but with 2 holes left, we hit a big delay. 4 carts and 8 golfers. Needless to say, that made our last two holes a 40 minute challenge having to wait for all 8 golfers to play. Not sure where the Marshall was?
Two nines
Front nine is narrow and shorter than the m7ch wider and slightly longer back nine. The front nine is less forgiving and you have no good misses. Back nine is more forgiving. Overall Good challenge for serious golfers with excellent pace of play
Good course at discount rate
Good golf course to play at discount rate. Greens and tee boxes in rough shape. Fairways are very long specially on the back nine. Over all good course for all level
A great round of golf! Drinks and food are included which is a bonus.
The only downside is that most of the bunkers were unplayable, lots of small rocks. We would rake and place the ball as most were packed down.
A small issue in an otherwise wonderful round!
Championship course
Greens were consistent, some grain bot putted true. The starter was very accommodating. Played in four hours. Great experience. Played three times in five day stay. Got great deals on Golf Now!
