Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay

This is one of the my favorite courses in Punta Cana. The course layout really nice. It’s challenging yet not too difficult.

Over all nice course. Very long hole but not too hard to play. Greens are not in best shape but was ok.

We had a great day golfing as usual!

Played on a busy day. They announced when we arrived that no cart was available yet since they were sold out. Had lunch and returned to range to warm up. The range is an empty field with mud, gravel and cement. A hodgepodge of practice balls all muddy. The Bart they gave us was old, beat up and had no significant brake. Pace of play was slow. Our foursome waited on every shot on every hole. Better courses in DR for the money. Pro shop nice and sandwiches and beer included..

Nice track. Forgiving fairways and nice large greens. Bunkers are a bit rough but…that’s golf. Excellent service and flexibility on assigned Tee Time. Wanna go early? Go. Played it 3X during our stay. We’ll be back!

Course layout is interesting, maybe forgiving a bid off the tee, but not very forgiving if missing the approach shot to the green, because of the bunker and bunkers condoois unpredictable and almost no flat areas around the hole on any green! We really enjoyed this course, and still find it challenging even after 30 rounds at this course fruiting our 70 days stay in the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful, free drinks & snacks are served at the clubhouse bar and from the food/drink cart in the golf course.

I played the course on a Monday morning and didn’t see anybody until I got to the 15th hole. Of course has a nice mix of long holes new short holes. The greens are very good, the fairways receptive, and the overall condition of the course was excellent. I highly recommend this course.

Great experience from start to finish, course was in immaculate condition, fairways are wide but bunkers in all the right areas so you had to be careful with your drives. Recommend an early tee time as the course got really busy from 10 am. I had rental clubs, Taylor made P790 irons and cobra driver, 3 wood and hybrids. The greens were a nice pace in the morning but as the sun got to it they really quickened up. Unlimited drinks and food as you play and more importantly in the clubhouse when you finish. All in all a great experience

Fun layout at a reasonable price. No issues with pace of play. Would definitely recommend.

I thought the condition of the course was very good, I was disappointed with the bunkers, there were a lot of stones in them and not enough sand in them as well! We teed off at 9:10 and the bunkers were not raked at all!

We hired golf clubs at $50 and for that price I expect better condition clubs, I had to change my 5 iron and driver as the driver was a rattle and the cavity on the back of the 5 iron had fallen off!

I came in with low expectations based on previous reviews. However, those thoughts were quickly gone as the course was significantly better than I imagined. The tees and fairways were in great shape and in great shape. The fairways are wide and fairly forgiving. The greens were very undulating but on the slower side. The only negative thing I could say is that we only saw the beverage cart once but that may be because we played so quickly. All in all, it was a great experience and I hope to be back before our vacation is finished.

I have played this course numerous times. I use to use Golf Now to book but there prices about 6 months ago doubled which I am sure is not there doing. So I use local discounts. I had not played this course in a few months because of pricing but when I got there an employee actually came up, called me by name and thanked me for coming back. All the employees except one are great. The last 2 times we played there was a woman on the drink cart was miserable. She finally made it to us on the 7th hole and I asked for 2 shots of whiskey and 2 beers. My friend actually tried to make small talk but no response and no smile, no ice to keep the beer cold and if there was 3/4 of an ounce booze I would be shocked. For the first time ever NO TIP. Did not see her again till the16th fairway. She had just served people on the green I literally had to scream to make her stop then she waited for me to go to her. GREAT PLACE ONE BAD EMPLOYEE.

6 some in front of me and did not know they were doing aerification . Did get a rain check, staff was nice and helpful! Played here before and great, would not pay to play for about 2 weeks from now!

Booked last minute, fairly high rate but course was in good shape. Not too crowded, went out off the back 9 due to a party of 17 starting before me on 1. OK set of rental clubs. Cost included an open bar which I did not take advantage of while playing but nice spot to sit and have drinks outside after. Fairly basic but nice clubhouse.
