Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay

I played as a single. Staff was very friendly. Some Holes were not marked. Maintenance was walking ahead of me on two or three holes raking bunkers. I had to wait or hit into them. Golf pass was cheapest afternoon rate I could find. $180. High in my opinion considering the conditions of fairways and greens. I did enjoy my round. Around two hours. Did not see another golfer.

Enjoyed our time. Perfect for couples and people of all skill levels. Friendly staff and professional.

I played there 3 weeks ago and the greens were rough because of aeration but three weeks later I played them again and they really have not improved very much I was pretty disappointed

I love the Hard Rock Punta Cana course. Beautiful layout professional staff. The only criticism is the equipment mainly carts and paths. Need to invest money. Now let’s talk about the Golf Now lack of communication which is hardly unusual. This course was under renovation which I did not know when booking as golf now per usual failed to reveal this in their HOT DEAL description which is their greed as usual. See they take your money know course conditions let you pay money then issue you a credit not a refund. If you book a regular tee time it states actual course conditions. HOT DEAL money belongs to GOLF NOW. They are greedy and have deceptive practices. Wait to you See my other review on golf course PUNTA ESPADA!! I have found booking directly with the course 80-100 percent of the time is better.

I recently played a round at the Hard Rock Punta Cana golf course and unfortunately left disappointed due to a lack of clear communication at check‑in. My playing partner and I were not informed that our tee time was considered a twilight round. Because of this, we were unexpectedly ushered off the course at 6 PM — despite having paid for a full 18‑hole round and not even completing nine holes.

Had we been properly notified at registration, I would have adjusted my pace of play and addressed the issue of being charged for 18 holes under conditions that made finishing the round impossible. The course itself is beautiful and well‑maintained, but the guest experience suffered due to this oversight. Clear communication is essential, and I hope management improves this process for future players.

Had a 9:10am tee time. Pace was good. Course is well maintained and overall a nice, well maintained course.

Premium clubs were not available for rent at the club house, I Was only offered the cheaper rental clubs and they were basically unusable. Wedge was rusted and well worn beyond use. I was Given graphite senior flex shafts on the irons. Driver and woods were dented and face was way worn. The Bag was beat up and torn.

When I mentioned to the starter that the clubs were in horrible condition and if there was any other set available, he said "yes, I know".

The range left a lot to be desired as it was all torn up and barley any grass left.

They also did not bother to fill the cart cooler with ice so I had luke warm water all round. The cart's brakes barely worked and locking mechanism did not work. For the cost I would expect better carts, rental clubs, and amenities.

For what a normal greens fee costs, it seems like you are being taken advantage of. The range only has grass for 150 yards and past that is concrete. The range balls are beat to pieces. Golf carts are in need of replacing. No GPS. Course layout is good but for what you pay the condition itself is subpar. Seems to me they know they will get foot traffic so they charge what they want. Wouldn’t have played and paid if I had known what I was stepping in to.

On a positive note the staff was GREAT and very friendly.

I was thinking about giving it a bad review but I like it so much I'm playing again today. I don't want anybody else going there I want it to myself

Thanks to golf now’s rates and the accumulated points, plus the redeemable monthly bonuses this course is truly the biggest bang for your buck. The arrival is well organized, friendly and fast. This is an all inclusive golf, that includes all beverages and sandwiches, muffins, croissants etc… price also includes cart, practice range, putting area and if you plan on playing multiple days you can leave your clubs for free. Staff at the starters station are very friendly and helpful. The course is in excellent condition, fairways are very well maintained and forgiving, greens are in great shape and challenging.

Course was in good condition and offered a decent variety of holes. Greens were in good condition and ran true. Fairways were also in great condition and there was very little rough (you are either with a good lie, bunker or jungle). Staff were all friendly and as I turned up early I was able to get on earlier than booked which was a pleasant surprise. Rental clubs were of good quality (saw a few negative reviews of these ahead of the round but I had no complaints)
