Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Great layout and conditions
The course was in really good condition and the layout was awesome. Beautiful scenery with some wide open grip and rip holes.
Teal Bend SAC
Overall for this far into summer course is in very good shape especially fairways and greens. Biggest concern would be the tee boxes, they were pretty chopped up. At least from the white tees. High 90's but pace of play was very good once we were waved through by a 3 someone in front. Greens running true and at a fair pace.
Fun course
Had a blast playing this course. Long and challenging but still manageable and a good course for any level. Greens are great and will definitely come back soon
Adjust your sprinkler time
We were still playing on the course and the sprinklers were on. Players need to fix their divots too. Otherwise a good layout.
Fun &difficult, BUT….
Good layout and good practice area. Recommend offering push carts for walkers. BUT the pace of play was awful. We saw a Marshall on #11 who said he identified the slow group and spoke to them. Said he would follow up but did not and pace never improved. If pace is important to you, be warned
Good Shape
The course is in pretty good shape. Pace of play was good. Greens are nice. Just a little hot due to how the Bermuda grass the retains moisture.
Love it
We drive 45 min to get to the course, well worth it. Really like the layout, everything is mown to perfection.
Great course, nice layout
Love Teal Bend. The layout has some good challenging holes, always fast greens, & usually good conditions. The staff are professional and customer focused. Can't wait to return.
Pleasant
Overall, I enjoyed the day and for the price point I have no complaints. Yes, things could be in better condition but it’s still a fun atmosphere lots of pollen in the air, though if you struggle with that.
