Hill Country Golf Club - Creeks/Oaks
About
The Creeks Nine is one of three courses at the Hill Country Golf Club. Named after the creeks that meander through the layout, this course demands accuracy with water coming into play on several holes and numerous strategically placed bunkers. There are also wooded ravines and a variety of elevation changes to keep golfers on their toes. The Oaks Nine is named for the towering oaks that blanket the course. The courses are situated on over 200 acres of scenic Texas Hill Country, giving them each a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and lush meadows dotted with native oak trees and clear blue lakes. Hill Country Golf Club is also home to a driving range and putting green on addition to the three nines.

Great course
Weather made some bad conditions around the course, greens needed work. Other than that the course is awesome! Fun and challenging! Staff was very helpful and friendly..this was a great deal for what is offered. Will do it again
Worst place ever!
Save your money even Devine golf course is better then this place. I had booked a round with my son and his friends for his birthday and I had Saturday tee time. They called me Friday evening to tell me they made a mistake and book a tournament on our tee time and they said I would have to play front 9 twice. (Really)I was angry because I couldn’t book anywhere else this late in week. They admitted they made all kinds of mistakes and I wasn’t happy in which they knew I wouldn’t be happy but the general manager insults me more by saying for my inconvenience he would book me another day where I can come play the other 9 holes on him I said for my inconvenience how about have me back and play a real 18 holes but said his boss wouldn’t allow it but yet they allow someone to pay hard earned money and play front 9 twice I didn’t have the heart to tell my 4some that this was going to happen because I knew they would know that was stupid and I was right when we finished first 9 I had to act stupid like I didn’t know we had to play front 9 twice because I was right when I told them they were all mad and saying how stupid that was so when I heard how upset my foursome was so upset then I knew it wasn’t just me that playing front 9 twice was the dummest thing ever. It really left bad taste in my mouth and today is September 17th when I played on September 5th I was assured the manager of the general manager would reach out to me by email and Bryan from Hyatt reassured me that Hyatt would make things right but it’s been 12 days and I havnt received a email or a call at least to apologize to me Bryan even gave me her email and she still has not responded Ashley Garcia still has not answered my email so I guess this is what I should of expected and that was for me to forget about it.

Course was in great shape for sure.. Greens were pure, they were slow but okay. Fairways, Tee box was really good. The only problem I had was pace of play as a foursome was in front of me and refused to let me play through and on another hole same thing, so I had to skip to holes and drive through. Golf Etiquette should be observed as I has a Solo and just trying to play a quick round before other obligations.
Best course of the week
I played Golf Club of Texas, The Quarry, and then this course. It was by far my favorite course of the week. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. My only complaint is that the tee boxes were not level. I felt like I was taking a drive through the woods and along the way playing golf on some interesting holes.

Nice layout, tight course on the oaks 9. .Greens need some tlc most had open spots and lots of sand, bumpy on almost all greens. For the price it should be in better shape. Pace o f play was good like 4 hrs.
Hyatt Hill Country GC (Creeks/Oaks)
Awesome play. Course was best I have ever played on. Fairways/greens even the 1st cut rough was in great shape. I would recommend this course anyone that likes a challenging course.
Impressive
The resort associated with this course is amazing. The 3 nine hole courses were all different and unique in their own way. Kind of expensive unless on a special but well worth the money. A great experience
Very Nice.
The courses are well put together and the signs keep you straight. I love that I jave the choice to play a combination of courses every time. The only downside was the greens in rough shape for aeration.
Disrespect
The gentleman at check-in said “ Don’t mess up the course like you see in the internet”. What happened to “Thank you for choosing us…have a fantastic round and day”. I guess common courtesy is out the door. It doesn’t take much to ruin your thought process before teeing off. Im am offended. In addition to that, The marshal at carts was amazing. Thank you for that. I cancelled the following day related to rain and thunder so I requested my bag to be returned to the resort lobby. Well it wasn’t there at resort check out and I literally had to go and demand my bag from the club house which made me late going out. Come on guys you are better than that. I am a return patron of the resort but will not be playing golf
