Waterview Golf Club

This course has the worst management I have ever seen. Carts steering wheels don’t move unless you pull hard, seats are duct taped. Greens are rock hard. This place is way overpriced. They hire way to many people to walk around and make sure your experience is awful. I can’t say enough bad things about this place. If I didn’t live in the neighborhood I would never play here again.

Don’t expect to warm up if you book your tee time as a single. I came early as a single to warm up and get ready for my tee time. I arrived at 2:25 and my tee time was at 2:52. I booked my tee time through GolfNow and it was prepaid. Apparently if you book as a single you are treated horribly. Alex in the clubhouse refused to give me a cart key because apparently I am not worthy of receiving such an honor. He didn’t even offer a ride to the range. Since they paired me with a threesome he said I have to wait for the threesome to show up because only they are worthy to hand two cart keys to. I told Alex several times that when the threesome shows up I can come back to the clubhouse to pick up the third guy in the threesome joining me. He said we don’t offer carts to people to go to the range. Which was a comment I still do not understand. Usually when you have paid for your tee time they hand you a cart key and then you drive your self to range in the cart you are gonna play in. Long story short he completely refused to give me a key and instead of warming up for my round I have to sit in the clubhouse writing this review until the threesome checks in. This is hands down my worst experience ever checking into a clubhouse. But wait there’s more…after waiting in the clubhouse until 4 minutes before my tee time the threesome doesn’t even show up so I had to ask him if they don’t show up will I even get to play. He begrudgingly handing me a cart then I race to the first tee to join a threesome teeing off of hole 1. After hitting my tee shot the Marshall tries and chase me down to get me to join in the cart with my now new threesome group. Jesus Christ how am I supposed to relax and enjoy my round now. This place really needs to get it together.

Played on a Weds morning, and pace of play was a little slow. Still enjoyed the round and I thought the course played well.

Had another good round at Waterview on a perfect weather day after a nice cool front came in. Pace was slower than usual, but a nice group of five let me play through when I was playing solo. Used my GolfPass credit and a used a Hot Deal to save some money, but they got it back from the beers I bought at the bar. Played my best hole after my 2 beer prime kicked in and got a birdie on a short par 3 #2 that made my day even though I had a lot of triple bogies. :)

greens are absolutely perfect. fairways and tee boxes could have been cut a little bit lower I think

Enjoyed another round of golf at Waterview on a wet muddy day after 3 days of much needed rain. Course was pretty empty and used my Golf Pass tee time credit on top of a "Hot Deal" early afternoon tee time. First time playing in several months. Got a birdie on hole #4 - highlight of my round. Hit the best 2nd shot 5 iron in my life after a decent drive for a tap in birdie. 1 par and the rest was ugly. Got my steps in the day with cart path only. Bar and grill was open even though the place was practically empty on a Saturday, which was really nice.

This golf course has very good layout, and the greens are in good condition, but other areas of the course are not in good shape at all. But the good thing is that they seem to be working towards making the course better in the future. I enjoy playing this course the few times that I do play it each year.

Fairways are torn up, and now being flooded. The greens are sanded and in bad shape.

This was a fun course and great first play. It was very well maintained, which is hard to do being 105F for a couple of weeks. I throughly enjoyed the course and will play there again.

play with my son 9 holes early morning. Staff has been fantastic, marshall explained rules and, as we were here for first time, he advised a bit about the first holes. Course in good shape; some green needs a more care but it has been a good experience considering i'm 15 Hcp and my son is 20 hcp....

We were pace setters for the day, did the first 9 in 1 hour and 45 minutes but apparently they start the 9 hole groups at the half in front and "really slows down at the turn" is what they told us. 2 hours and 45 mins. for the back half. My group played the first two rounds in the dark at 6:12 a.m. in order to get out and get fast. I understand playing fast is not for everyone but why even have that time if your just going to screw them over?
