Great course, in great shape

Played well with some nice views

One of the worst rounds of golf I’ve golf I’ve experienced due to the ranger. Came up to our group 3 separate times telling us to speed our pace of play when we were well ahead the normal pace and not holding anyone back. He was rude from the very start of the round.. Very unprofessional. We played 9 holes in an hour and 37 minutes well ahead of pace but felt rushed the entire time because of their ranger. Do not play

I've played this course many times, and have never experienced such misguided Rangers in my life. If the two rangers would have had an ounce of professionalism, we could have had a wonderful experience. A true conversation instead of a power trip from someone who does not play or understand golf is unfortunate. I'll be back, because of the location and convenience, but not because of the yahoos who run this course.

This is such a great lakefront course. Could be way better if anyone cared to monitor pace of play. Took 3 hours to finish, not cool and this is the norm here..

I have been playing Waveland for years. It's a nice muni course in the city. In the past you would pay for parking when you paid at the pro shop and put the receipt on your dash. I played May 9th and I saw they added Metropolis parking with gates. It now costs $9.14 to park!! I live a 5 minute drive from here, but I will nit return. To walk 9 holes it cost $47. I will gladly drive to the burbs where they don't charge me for parking!

Tried to get a tee time, tee times were online but we went in person to get them since we were there and they said the course was closed. The desk worker wouldn’t even look to check. Unfortunate because we were very excited to play this course, and it looks lovely. Hope others have had a better experience.

I wish they could get rid of the bird poop more often
