Front Desk Can’t do its Job
Tried to get a tee time, tee times were online but we went in person to get them since we were there and they said the course was closed. The desk worker wouldn’t even look to check. Unfortunate because we were very excited to play this course, and it looks lovely. Hope others have had a better experience.
Pretty decent for 9 holes
I wish they could get rid of the bird poop more often
Local Gem
Hard to get tee times because this place is so popular. Light on amenities but heavy on ambiance.
Great golf on the lakefront
One of my favorite courses, based mainly on the location. The views of Lake Michigan and Lake Shore Drive buildings are magnificent. I don't mind if the pace is a little slow. Gives me more time to soak in the scenery!
Temp Tee Boxes
I think a course should let you know about tempoary tee boxes, guess they were saving them for the tournament this coming weekend
Irrigation needed
From what I’ve heard they have plans to put in an irrigation system this year, it is sorely needed. The fairways are dead and the greens are rolling like carpet. The staff was friendly but the rangers still need to push pace more. It should not take 2.5 hours to play this course with how short it is, especially during the day on a weekday.
