Canyon Springs Golf Club

Played 18 holes here later on a Friday afternoon. Paid up with 3 other singles with 2 having great knowledge of the course. I had a great time, started off hot but going trouble after I slipped on the cart path during a brief sprinkle. Placed better on the back 9 but the foursome on front of us was slow, hitting multiple shots in every tee box. No wonder we finished #18 in the near dark. We saw the starter several times but I don't think they ever said anything to the group ahead of us.

The layout is beautiful. Challenging but fun. The facilities were clean and had a fun atmosphere about it. My cart was tired. Slow for most of the round. But, beyond a few hiccups, it was well work my time, effort and money. Thankful whenever I get to post a birdie or two in another state.

I decided to golf when I saw there was an opening for a single. We’ll be there later in April for a tournament and wanted to check the course out.

I was paired with three young men from Wisconsin on spring break. As a homegrown San Antonian I welcomed them to town.

They had their own competition, a game called Wolf and I played my game.

They were mindful of the pace and we finished the round in about 4 1/2 hours

The staff was great and the smell of bbq greeted us at the start and the turn.

We really enjoyed our day. The course was in excellent condition and the amenities were top notch.. the layout was exceptional as were the fairways, greens, and tee areas. The pace of play was perfect. Never waited and never pushed. It was so nice playing on fairways where the ball sits up on the grass. Would definitely recommend playing Canyon Springs to all levels of player S there are multiple tees for all skill levels.

Excellent green although speed is not consistent. Fairways in good shape and layout is excellent.

Fantastic golf courses everything you expect from a top notch experience. Would highly recommend it to anybody wanting great time.

I ve always playing here the course is always great shape . The staff remains very friendly and helpful.During this round pace play is very good only 2 holes waited briefly.

Great place to start my 2026 season! Conditions were okay for this time of year. The staff is super friendly and welcoming!

I had a 1150 tee time and we were a threesome, the group ahead of us was a bunch of hackers and we had to wait on them from hole seven through 18. The course for mid February was in great shape. The greens were a little bumpy, but they held really well and putted OK. I would definitely play here again.

First time playing this course. It was an easy drive from where we were staying. We played seven courses on this trip and this course was by far in the best condition……especially for February golf. There’s a nice practice area with a great driving range that unfortunately we were unable to use due to their weekly maintenance schedule. Starter was friendly and efficient as were the pro shop staff. Our group all loved the course layout and definitely recommend play Canyon Springs.

This course went way down hill in the last year. Used to be one of my favorites in San Antonio, but the greens were atrocious yesterday. The layout is amazing, solid range, halfway house is great. Staff isn’t very welcoming in the pro shop. Just not the same course it was the last few years

a coupe of tee boxes are too uneven they don't work and a couple of greens are impossible to putt. Other than that it's a great track

Greens are still in great shape and fast. Course is solid especially for this time of year

As always, this course is first class. Everything is in great shape and staff is always friendly and helpful. Will recommend to players of all levels.

Canyou Springs is always top notch I never had an issue with this course the course continues to be in great shape. The staff and facilties con't to be excellent.
