Canyon Springs Golf Club

Had a blast playing early am with a couple members! Course was in great shape, greens were excellent. Will come back if ever in the area again

I enjoyed my Sunday morning at Canyon Spings GC. I’ll definitely play it again in the near future.

I will be back to play this course again. The only negative was that bathrooms were closed due to water issues. Greens were rolling pretty quick but were really consistent, which was great. Props to the greenskeeper. Staff were welcoming and starter Bill was great.

Unfortunately we got paired with two older gentleman and the pace of play really lagged behind.

Beautiful course! Deer everywhere and a couple longhorns on property. We'll maintained and efficiently run. Snack bar are 2 different locations. Staff was very nice and informative. Got it for $80 hot deal and was surprised by how nice it was. Will definitely go back when in TX again.

Great course and amenities. Pace slowed on the back nine but overall round finished in 4 1/2 hours.

The course conditions were excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional. Pace of play was terrible. We were behind a member’s kid and 3 of his buddies that were slowing everything down. People play a lot of money to golf. I don’t think I ever saw a Marshall.

Greens were aerated, which was not publicized, so putting not the best. Fairly tough layout, especially 473 yard par 4 from the blue tees, that’s a bit extreme!

I recommend this course for all level players. Great customer service and friendly employees.

This course is hidden within the broad Stone Oak section of San Antonio on the far north side close to 1604 and 281. It’s a great layout with lots of blind shots and contours to challenge golfers with a variety of tees for all skill levels. The staff is super friendly and there’s a place to grab a bite or drink right across from the pro shop. Highly recommend!

Great course in good condition with recent rains. Great food near the starter and turn. Practice greens and range were all top notch, highly recommend this course. It is a little expensive but worth playing.

Overall I would highly recommend Canyon. The had recently been punched but you would not have known without looking at them. They rolled true and fast. My only complaint, golf carts cut off well before the signs telling you to return to the cart path. Additionally, on hole 10, we had to backup down the cart path because the GPS thought we were on the fairway. Kind of odd and a bit of a pain, but that has never been an issue before.

This course is in great condition. Love playing here.

This course is a good one if you can get through the round fast enough. I didn't expect to be able to get in 18 holes obviously teeing off at 5:50 pm. Cmon, I got about 2.5 hrs of daylight. It shouldn't take the entire 2.5 hrs to barely get through 9. I went back and played #1 by myself in the dusk. Course conditions were great and ending up joining a guy behind me then we joined the twosome in front of us. A marshall came by and said there was a slow group ahead of us, but he didn't do anything about it. I've teed off here around 5:00 before in the summer, and I've never made it through about 11 holes. Same problems as other courses with groups playing from the tips with no business. Some playing from the tips as they should. Once we teed off around 3:00 and played pretty much on pace until #15 then it just stopped. Barely made it out before dark. What do you do? Try to play more in the morning I guess.

The course was great and staff also my only regreat was the pace of play was too slow. Overal it is one of the best i have played in San Antonio
