East course

Really enjoyed this course. Played the blue tees which was quite long at around 6700yds.

Some testing holes but course well maintained.

Will definitely play again. You can tell it is an old championship course some technical holes where position is important.

Very enjoyable as always. Play was a little slow but courses are popular with societies so no surprise. On such a warm day it was disappointing that the halfway house wasn’t open

Always nice to play here and a good challenge.

There are some fairways and greens that need a bit of TLC however.

Staff friendly and helpful.

Would lobe to play this again, when the fairways have a more even cibering of grass and the greens are back to their quick pave with even civering of grass and no bald bumpy patches.

Would question the £60 fee i have just seen at the moment.

Paid £50 today and would say that was a bit steep for the current condition.

Hopefully, now we are back to fourballs, some greenkeepers will be allowed to get back to work and restore it to former days.

Well worth playing, both courses are amazing up there with the best in the south east

I have played the East course many times in the past and this is the worst condition I've ever seen it. i appreciate we had a couple of heavy showers prior to teeing off but the first 6 fairways were virtually flooded. The greens were absolutely awful! They had tram lines across them where they had been top dressed, (which I understand was done in March), and they were very bumpy, making putting a challenge! I will not be back in a hurry!
