It's one of the best Open courses for a reason
Was lucky enough to play Royal Birkdale the day after the Open. What can I say that hasn't already been said about one of the great courses in the world, and one of the best in the Open rota? It was a superb test - obviously difficult, but not overly penal. We also lucked out and had perfect weather. Just enough of a breeze to make things interesting, but nothing like what greeted players during the first round!
