A very interesting course to play with some challenges on the greens and fairways, also good value for money and a good 19th hole 👍

Staff were very welcoming and accomodating, course is fairly hilly and challenging course condition was excellent especially the greens. Ball lies above or below feet few flat lies but good challenge, well worth visit.

This course was good fun to play. Although its lack of par 5s the quality of some of the par 3s and long par 4s make up for it and make it a good challenge. The shortness also makes walking easy although lose your ball to the bottom of the fairway be prepared for a walk back up it! Some great views across the bay and although it had rained heavily the previous days the course was in great condition and the greens were great and rolled true with varying speeds up and down the slopes.

Too many shots played blind for me. Even some par3 s the green was not visible!

I booked a tee time a couple of weeks in advance as I was staying at Ladram Bay holiday park with the family and we had booked some other activities. Got really lucky with the weather as it was a beautiful day. There was a seniors group in front which apparently play every Wednesday that meant that the play was slow. That diidnt bother me too much as the views were gorgeous and the course was is great condition. Would highly recommend and will be going back if I get the chance.

Fantastic course that will challenge any handicap.

Played on New Years Day which was a cold day and the course was in great condition with full greens and some mats. Amazing views of the Jurassic Coast. Staff very friendly.

Course stood up very well after all the rain in the last few weeks. Always find the course demanding, but still creep up here from time to time as it's my local club.

I would definitely recommend playing at Sidmouth, the staff were great and considering the weather around the time we played , the course was in good condition and the greens played very true,it’s definitely challenging with very few shots being played on even footing. Whilst the course is short, shot selection and course management are a must.

The views were breathtaking and the facilities were great , we had a lovely bit of lunch and a drink after playing. the staff and local members of the club couldn’t have been nicer.

We will definitely be back!

As beginner's and trying various course's in south Devon we had a great morning round. The welcome from the pro shop on arrival was excellent and gave us a quick tour and some helpful tips. The course layout is a valley and front nine are all up hill and back nine down hill, the course is in excellent condition and fabulous greens and fairways withlots of signage for 1st time users assistance getting around. We covered approx 5miles using trolleys, the course is tricky as very sloping and some greens are quite small. In all a great place to play golf and very friendly.

The 'GolfNow' tee time was immediately behind a seniors match that was playing that day. By the 4th hole my tee time and the 2 tee times behind me were all queued up waiting for the group in front....who were waiting for the group in front......who were waiting for the group in front and so it went on. Played 6 holes and called it a day. Disappointed that I didn't get value for money.

Good Money for course, especially on hot deal, fun small course with lots of hills which makes you think about every shot. Went when it was the end of the heatwaves so course conditions are not normally like this,

Oh my! Fairways and short rough almost completely absent of life in this exceptionally dry summer, and that means there's little stopping the ball running off at speed even on the gentlest of crossfalls. Problem is, there are a lot of very steep crossfalls too. My playing partner aslo had a ball return 100yds to his feet on the steep 9th fairway. Granted it was poorly hit!

Beware also some steep lung busting climbs on the 8th, 9th and 11th. 8th's a shocker.

Greens on the other hand were very good indeed, true and not too fast. Very healthy and well tended.

In fairness, this is a beautiful wood-lined course with views to the sea which I've enjoyed playing on many occasions, but I did say to my pal that he should remind me of this day if we ever thought of playing again in the dry season. Such a pity.

Did enjoy a cold pint in the clubhouse, though. Nice place and nice welcome by all.

One word need to describe this course ……… Stunning

Though it's got quite a few par 3's it's far from easy. There's a few blind shots. Greens are really good. With the differing elevations you rarely get a flat lie which makes it a

tough challenge.

Aside that the views are amazing.

Great value helpful staff hope to return as a knowledge of the course will hopefully add to the enjoyment of future visits.
