Good course, slow play on a Monday. Manager could be be more accommodating.

Greens are running true, very fast. Fairways are great, a little beaten up from a lot of play this year but, overall great. Love this course layout.

Rough is too deep on most holes, looking for balls all day even just a little off the fairway. For average golfers it is too deep and causes delays in pace of play.

Super fun to play and the course lay out is great.

Course needs a ranger to make sure players that are walking keep pace.

I really enjoy Prairie Isle as it offers quite a bit of variety and some challenging holes. The course is in great condition and the mixture of elevation changes and water hazards makes for a fun round.

If you’re gonna drive, almost an hour to play a round the golf, the golf course should be worth it, and Prairie Isle was definitely worth it.

A wonderful layout with some really beautiful holes. The tee boxes were in good shape as was the fairways with a few exceptions.

The greens were in excellent condition. Some of the surrounds needed repair. The bunkers were raked and free of debris. They had a decent practice putting green, pitching green and sand trap.

The negatives:

I didn’t eat. No one was tending the bar when I entered so I didn’t order any food. The choices were basic. There was no beverage cart available on the Friday I played.

No driving range.

Despite the negatives this course represents a very good value for the quality of the course.

Maybe,this was a one-off because usually most foursomes move along at Prairie Ridge……this time though,we were expected to wait til our tee time,even though no one had teed off for 25-30 minutes.Then with five minutes before our tee time,a threesome and a ride along were whisked in front of us and expected to tee off……the twosome behind us jumped us and the last second threesome by starting at the second hole.We,eventually skipped hole 6 and never ran into any other group for the remainder of our round.We finished in four hours BUT the group we jumped was,still on hole 13 when we finished …..if we did not skip a hole, it would have been more than five hours, thirty minutes……I hope this group and the management get a clue for the future….this group had no business playing from the back tees and continued to think that since they paid,it was only their course…shame on the starter as welll

We love this course. Many interesting holes, water hazards, changes in elevation, etc. Fairways were outstanding. Sand traps were well kept. Greens were healthy but needed some work. Half of the cart paths are in disrepair.Bar staff and beverage cart were friendly. Pro shop person needed a better attitude as usual.

Good Value for the Senior rate. Course is very well conditioned. Front nine has several crossing holes that can create hazards, back nine has several tight driving holes, as well as a 90• left dogleg that creates a major bottleneck on hole #11.

Pace of play got quite slow on the back nine, and we did not see any rangers out on the course all Friday afternoon. It became a 5 hour round, but that is the only complaint.

Course was in great condition! Hadn’t played for quite awhile and enjoyed playing it again.

I have played this course over the last 3 seasons. Always in good condition and one of my favorite designs. Makes for challenging shot selections and course management and not just length.
