Great option in Western NC (Cashiers)

If you stay in Cashiers for any length of time you know we have zero public courses in the immediate area. Connestee Falls is an hour away and I'll gladly drive that far to play this course. Staff were amazing, course was in very good shape, layout is true mountain golf.

Driving range is mats which was ok - they have a nice short game area as well as a putting green.

Would have liked to have had a beverage cart, but maybe that doesn't happen on a random Tuesday.

Greens are very difficult to read (at least for me). Pace was pretty good even though they were soft.

I will eagerly play again.

Nice surprise

I have been vacationing in Sapphire for a lot of years. There are not any public courses anymore - since Sapphire National closed. Looked for courses nearby and came across this. Excellent surprise, about 1/2 hour from Sapphire. Course in grest shape, especially considering the spring/summer draught I think they were having. Very friendly staff. Great course.

Good but challenging golf day in the Mountains

Course was in very good condition - tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good shape. Tough demanding course, but fun to play. Thankfully several water stops as it was hot, humid with little breeze.
