New and Improved Broadmore
Excellent experience! Driving range is Top Golf on steroids. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous.
10-13 course layout is greatly improved. Course conditions were very good. Still some growing in to do but should be magnificent by fall. Price is probably going to be too steep for me, but given location and improvements the memberships will continue to roll in.

This facility is exceptional. The course was in pristine condition. The greens were magnificent. There’sa great practice facility. A premier golf facility in the Asheville area.
A must play if you were in the Asheville area or live in the Asheville area.
Re opening
I enjoyed the new layout on 10,11, and 12. The new drive bays are great. Needs new balls but I'm sure those are coming
First time on new layout
Nice course design. Mostly flat and open but, water on several holes so it requires precision. Course conditions were good. There are a lot of hard pan lies and rough is non existent. We have had lots of rain so I do believe that is by design. The only strange thing to me is with as much money and renovations that was put into the course, they didn’t put one restroom on the course.
Broadmoor Links
After recovering from Helene, the new course is really nice. Definitely worth playing.
THE GREAT COMEBACK
This track has always been a local favorite of mine over the years. It was completely destroyed by flooding from Hurricane Helene in September of 24. To see what this team and staff have done to not only put it back together, but put it back better than it has ever been. Greens are phenomenal. Fairways plush and full. The redo of 10,11 and 12 was genius and makes that corner much more entertaining to play. Staff was energetic and welcoming with a huge glow of pride in their establishment. New driving range facilities are 1st class. Restaurant is fantastic with a better menu for golfers. Service was a tad slow but I will excuse that to opening day jitters. Cart girl service!!! At Broadmoor!!! She was friendly and came around very timely. Price was a bit higher but!!! If that's what we get as a normal experience I do not mind paying a bit more for the 1st class experience. I highly recommend that you all check out this awakening of the place that seemed at death of its existence. You won't be disappointed.
Renovation looking good
Greens in great shape as is course…staff strange as ever….price is too much
Bad experience
My wife and I booked a Hot Deal on golf now. I checked the tee sheet and there were no other players for 1./ 2 hour either side of us. There were two other players scheduled with us. My wife is a beginner and would prefer that we go out alone but it’s not a deal breaker. We got there early and it was empty. We checked in and got an attitude that we had a Hot Deal like we were cheap. We asked if we could tee off but the started basically had the same line “no, your a hot deal, you have to wait”. They were the rudest crew I have ever encountered. I’m 68 and have been golfing since I was 6. These were the worst. Then they say no coolers but the don’t provide a refreshment cart in the course when we finished they blocked us from driving our bags to the end of the parking lot. The wise guy said you can’t drive into the parking lot. I acknowledged that I knew that but that if he moved I could get a lot closer to my car. What a &&@&!head he was. The course is barely worth what we paid for a hot deal. If they are going to treat you bad because you bought it then don’t list it on golf now. It’s to bad because I really like the layout even though the conditions are not great. But never again!!
Cost of play
I’ve played this course for years! The only thing that has really changed is the cost to play it! I’ve never seen this course with so little amount of people on it for a Friday! I suspect that has to do with the cost. The only reason why I played it was due to time restrictions of a friend. Want be going back because the value to play is terrible….
Roger the Dictator
Went as a family to play golf. Upon arriving they were extremely rude from the go, I guess due to a children.
1. There was no one there and they forced a single to join us . The single wanted to play alone. We passed one group that was at least 6 holes in front of us. No one ever came behind us till hole 17.
2. No coolers! I get it but when you have a diabetic son who is 6 and husband there is a need. My husband ended up having a major sugar low on hole 7. Thankfully we found a snack tucked away. Our cooler should have been allowed !
3. They made us pay for an extra cart. When my mother came to watch us play she was walking to meet us on the 2 nd hole. She was picked up and they demanded she purchase another cart. We had 3 carts already and there was room for her to ride. If cart was not purchased she had to leave.
My overall outlook is the staff is very rude. Roger in the clubhouse is narcissistic male who never got a chance to be someone so he belittles or criticizes anyone he can.
If you have kids or a family and looking for an enjoyable place ………THIS IS NOT THE COURSE FOR YOU!
No play
We did not get to play. When we arrived at the course it was cart path only and due to health issues we could not play. The young man worked with GolfNow to get us a credit. We hope to be back some day soon.
Hit it straight
Average course, the conditions were okay considering its in the middle of the busy season. Greens are challenging and the fairways are tight and little to no chance finding a ball east and west of the fairway. Enjoyed the course but not one of my favorites.
