Golfer Reviews
Great day!
Played early and got out before the heat kicked in. Challenging course for someone that cannot place shots as well as I’d like. Lots of water and sand.
Can’t wait to go back!
Better than ever
I’ve played Broadmoor 2x since the reopen. Love the new layout of 10-12. The course is in tremendous condition and every staff member I’ve met has been tremendous. Wish the price was lower so ahot time is great for me.
The only criticism is there are no nets on driving range fences in front of the green of #11. A ball landed five feet from us, less than 6 inches from the flag. That needs fixed immediately.
1st time
Blown away. Great condition, fun layout, and can’t wait play again.
Pace issues
Serious pace issues. 5hr round past few times I’ve played just from being held up by slow or too large of groups. Great course and staff though. Working out kinks still.
Broadmoor golf
Really liking all the new changes to the course with the new management. They did a very good job.
Definitely will be back playing again soon.
A lot nicer areas past the greens and around them now
Welcome Back!
So glad to have them back as an option in the Asheville area! Place of play and value were the only dings in an otherwise great experience.
Place of play was slow, but it was the weekend and the marshals were out trying to push the groups to keep up.
It was an expensive round of golf, but I know they’ve got to make their money back after getting the course back after Helene.
Only true negative was that most of the tee boxes were rock hard. I had to step on my tee a couple of times to try to get the tee in the ground. I’m sure that will improve with time and aeration.
Highly Recommended!
Recently opened Broadmoor golf
Really enjoy all the work that they did on the golf course. It’s so much better now. What a pleasure playing there , I will be back.
Better than ever before
What a great comeback story. I loved it. Planes flying low overhead was added treat
Nice Course
Enjoyed the course and the facility is very nice also
First time playing Broadmoor, as we were on a trip to Asheville. Just an outstanding golf course and overall facility. The staff there are just top notch and centered on customer service. They have recently re-opened after hurricane Helene and the course is in perfect shape. Highly recommend this one.
Trying too Hard
We arrived for a mid afternoon tee time and were told they were more than 45 minutes behind. Morning rain delayed play and it was cart path only. And then had to wait for a spot on the range and pay for range balls. That was all ok EXCEPT they had scheduled 7 min between tee times and were allowing young kids and visitors to join 4 young players in 4 person and two person carts. So with cart path only, kids were running around the fairways jumping into puddles and further delaying play. Often had to wait for 6 people to clear a fairway. Staff was nice but the whole place was overcrowded with lots young players of varying golf abilities. Won’t return.
