Ironclad Golf and Beer Garden
About
Ironclad Golf and Beer Garden (formerly known as Belvedere Country Club) in Hampstead begins along the Intracoastal Waterway and then moves inland towards the clubhouse. The back nine is routed through tall forests that provide a home to grey heron and osprey. The golf course forms a large figure eight, which means you won't find any parallel fairways, but you will also be faced with wind whipping in every direction. The unique layout consists of six par 3s, seven par 4s, and five par 5s that all place a heavier emphasis on accuracy than distance. Many of the greens are elevated and the fairways are lined with trees. The par 3s are some of the most demanding holes due to their small, narrow greens. They are the toughest greens to hit in regulation but luckily if your placement isn't perfect there are still opportunities to save your score.

Course was fine, greens are a work in progress. Good value. Fish tacos were terrific
there facility is shaping up to be great in the near future
Ironclad
Good value for your money. Course layout and fairway conditions are good. The greens are in not so good condition, need lots of work, which they appear to be working on. They have recently reversed the play, the back 9 is now the front.
Offseason Golf with a Surprising Highlight
Played a round at IronClad Golf recently, and while we weren’t expecting pristine conditions given the offseason, the course still left a lot to be desired. The layout itself is enjoyable—fairly easy with very few blind shots, making it an approachable course for most golfers. However, the overall course conditions were pretty rough. The tee boxes were chewed up, and the greens were an inconsistent mix of different grasses and weeds, which made putting a bit of a guessing game. The bunkers, while fluffy, were actually one of the better-maintained parts of the course, which isn’t saying much.
That said, the real highlight of the experience was the onsite restaurant, Shako Tako. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and definitely worth a stop whether you're golfing or not.
Bottom line: We were thrilled we didn’t pay full price for our round. If you’re playing here in the offseason, keep expectations low for course conditions, but don’t skip Shako Tako—it’s the best part of the visit!
Good value
If you get thru.golfnow at $25 to $30, it is a great value. For my low expectation, I really enjoyed it
Winter Golf
One of my favorite places to go. Enjoy the layout of the course and conditions have Greatly improved.
:(
Not a fan of changing the 9's as it doesn't allow good flow and limiting swings to get you ready to play.
Friendly place with nice green
I enjoyed the course in my neighborhood with friendly staff and well maintained course
