Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club

Was told when we teed off that the men’s league played at a fast pace. That was NOT the case. Asked if a buddy and I could go off before them, was told no. A 5:15 round is not a favorable pace for a golf round.

There was a frost delay, so the first hole had a little back up. We asked if we could go off the back 9 first and then only have to wait on every hole on only 9 holes. The starter was hesitant but said go ahead. We played the course without waiting on both sides in 3 hrs. The sand traps could use some help. The rough could be reduced to find your ball easier. The rough was twice the height of the ball and did not hold up the ball. We liked the views and will be back. Just stay out of the sand traps and the rough and you will enjoy this course

Not long from any tee boxes, course makes up for it with fast undulating greens in good shape. Narrow front nine with anything off fairway adding to your score. Pretty setting!

Amazing layout - Amazing greens- Amazing course but you can’t drive on one fairway and we played when it was dry. GPS carts lock you outve all fairways Also, no hotdogs available at the turn.

Such a beautiful course! Every hole was scenic and well maintained... However, the putting green condition puzzled us. They were extremely dry and uneven condition. Some part of the green was super slow and some part is so fast. Impossible to putt. Fun course to play. It was somewhat disappointing to see there is no driving range, no water station, no ball cleaning station, and no beverage cart. We were happy to see the cart come with the GPS at least. Will be back to see the putting green is better.

Was a bit surprised as to how accomodating the staff was first round here as a public player, come to find out the players here are even friendlier than the staff (residents too). I thought maybe it was a fluke of a day, I was wrong.

Drinking water and ice machines on multiple holes, nice bathrooms, friendly staff, and a ridiculously fun layout. Pace is a tad lax but the views are worth it, take your time and enjoy it. Course members are not exclusive to having fun and are happy to see new faces. Both rounds here proved to be a wonderful facility with an accomodating atmosphere.

The person checking us in gave me a little problem with booking 2 players a week ago and then later booking one more person (a doctor who happened to be off) who wanted to join us the day before we were to play. The person checking us in acted like it was going to be a problem playing together. I asked him how many players had signed up to play the slot set up for the single? He replied just the one, so I said we all could play together at that tee time. He said that would not happen if it was a busy morning. He finally allowed us to play together.

This course is gorgeous has great views and 3 5-pars on the back 9. The greens were a little sandy, so take a towel to wipe the ball between putts. The weather was 80% rain, but we had no rain, and the sun came out on the back 9. We enjoyed playing this course.
