Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club

Great views and foun course to play awesome atmoshpere

I have played Cummings Cove before, so when GolfNow offered Hot Deal I was delighted. Course kept well, very good condition, challenging. It is well run and organized, carts are nice, facilities nice, very pleasant experience overall. Will go back!

Enjoyed our round at Cummings Cove. Friendly staff allowed me and my wife to play as a twosome which pleased her. Pete, the starter was great describing the course and getting us on our way. The front nine was extremely tight with driver not needed often. The back nine was a little more open but challenging with elevation changes and tested all clubs in your bag. Fun mountain gof experience!

This is a nice course, narrow but it’s in great condition. I thought the GPS setting for the golf cart were strict and not needed as strict as they were. Also, those who I guess are members with there own carts didn’t have to honor the gos setting and went were they wanted it making it difficult for use. We were constantly being pushed.

Without question the BEST part of this country club is the staff. Starts in the pro shop and then the Starter. These gentleman make sure to meet you with a friendly greeting - make sure you know where everything is. It really stands out and gets your day here started in a positive way. Course is not long but you do have to use course management. Definitely not a grip it and rip it course. Course is fair when you put the ball in the correct position. You will pay the price if you don’t. I recommend giving it a try if you have not played here. If you are ever near by again, you will come back. Great people work here. You will make more than one new friend here.

We just happened on this course on our way home from Myrtle Beach. It was kind of off the beaten path, but worth checking out. Very nice clubhouse and friendly guy checking us in. The front nine was unique with elevation changes, doglegs, and forced carries. Not very long, but tight in places and not much room for error. The entire course was in a beautiful mountain setting with the front being in the valley, and the back up on the top. Great views on the back and more forgiving. Overall the course was in good shape, greens had recently been reseeded, and fairways average. This course was a nice change from the mostly generic and overpriced tracks we played in Myrtle Beach!

Since I have leg and back problems, I thought there was too many holes that were cart path only. the holes with the on path areas to me were dry and should have been off path. I do agree with pare 3 holes and maybe wet areas but not all the dry well drained area. Greens were great. A lot of no grass area on the fairways. Other than that I love the course.

Has become my favorite course to play. Layout is great with water, corners and hidden challenges. Beautiful setting in the mountains with far off views.
