Cedar Rock Country Club

There were some wet spots on the course due to poor drainage but overall, it was in good shape. I enjoyed my round and we played a full round in 4 hours.

The course is in awesome condition always you are going to the mountains thinking you’re playing a mountain course but it’s awesome because it’s in a valley just really wish they would flip-flop the front in the back the the front nine has very difficult holes starting at whole one and it’s hard to get your flow going if you could flip-flop the back and the front the back is much easier you can get a good flow going before you get to the hard holes other than that course is always great staff is always super friendly and it’s never super busy

Play Cedar Rick 4-6 times a year. Player Friday April, 29. Course will be in tip top condition mid June if warm weather permits. Greens we're in super condition and fast. For a crowded Friday, place of play was great. I was a single and paired with 3 other online golfers. We had a great round and new friendships. Staff is always great at CR. Will be playing Monday in a seniors tournament with 100+ members. Looking forward to a great round. Cedar Rock is a great course.

I was wanting to play a different course and Cedar Rock appeared to be a very nice course online. When I got my cart I was paired with another gentleman. When we approached 2nd hole my cart quit working. I called pro shop and the guy was like did you try this and that then said you didn’t turn it off did you. Said he would sent another cart. I jumped in with other golfer. Never seen any employees and as we came back around the cart was still there and I had to get my own. The second cart quit on me as well after a few holes. I had to drive in reverse rest of time. The course was in terrible shape. One of the tee boxes appeared as though they just threw pieces of sod down and on another hole it appeared they had done away with a bunker and had done the same. Save your money

The course was in good shape. The staff was very friendly. The only comment would be it would have been nice to know ahead of time that the greens were recently aeriated. We had a great time and would play this course again.

The front 9 was closed for maintenance, so we had to play the back 9 twice. Would not have booked if that information was available on web site

I was blown away by not only this course but also by the hospitality and service by the staff. Morris in the Pro Shop is Top Notch and nothing short of an all-around great guy, and I say that because Im here visiting from Florida and little did I know that it would be a chilly 36 degrees during my tee time. He literally took off his sweater and let me use it since I did not bring my own. The course was in excellent shape and the views were incredible, without a doubt the BEST course I have played in North Carolina.
