Siler City Country Club

It was a pleasure playing here in solitude with the ability to focus on the game surrounded by beautiful trees and countryside. The only negative was the kitchen closed at 3 PM.

The course has a wonderful layout and was challenging but not enough to keep you from scoring well. The fairways and tee boxes were in great shape but the greens were being sanded and they didn't skimp on the sand which did effect approach shots and putting. I would definitely play again.

The improvements they have made are absolutely wonderful!!! From tee to green!!! Greens roll true...fairways are filled in..

Tee box's have lush grass....cart paths are smooth...concrete or asphalt the whole way......wonderful golf course

Course had a nice layout. I found the front a bit easier than the back. Course was in excellent shape. Lots of improvements going on.

Staff were friendly. Service in the bar/lunch area was outstanding. New greens are awesome. Fairways were very good. Layout was fun with lots of variety. Overall an outstanding experience.

When someone calls to make a tee time, and you don't tell them that you just punched the greens, that just makes for a bad experience. And then you drive an hour to get there, and they still charge you full price to putt on bumpy sandy greens ....

You asked for a review, well here it is. This happened early March 2022 but this review process dates don't allow. I haven't been back since and won't go back again. Bad business practices don't get rewarded.

Greens were fast and firm. Challenged this golfer. It was the kind of fast where your putter slid when addressed the ball. I’ve played half a dozen times or so. This was the toughest conditions, but loved it!

Seniros do not own tge course but siler city acts like they do. If your going to book that many slow pace players you need more time inbetween tee times.

I love this course. It’s challenging enough, and is always in good shape. The greens are rolling particularly well right now.

I play all over the region, and if there’s a better value out there, I haven’t found it. No matter how many people are on the course, it always feels like you’re all alone. It’s incredibly peaceful.

Make the trip.

The staff in the clubhouse was fine but workers on the course were very rude and interrupted our play right in front of us trying to hit shots instead of waiting until we finished playing the hole. Even asked them to move and they continues spraying some paint around the green edges ignoring us as if we were not even there. Complained in the clubhouse and they didn't apoligize or nothing. Seems they don't care what the player thinks.

First off, this course is a challenge for me. It is a bit narrow in the fairways lol. I am a 25 handicap tho. I do like th course layout. However the Tee Boxes need more grass. Hole #2 tee box was practically grass free. The greens have lots of breaks in them which makes this course a challenge as well. The greens had a few weeds as well. Staff was awesome as always. They have a nice putting green and practice range as well. I paid $25 for my round on Memorial Day, which I thought was a deal.

I just hope they get some grass in the areas that need it.

Check in was a breeze & the course wasn't too crowded. This was a midweek round. We were able to play a fast 18 holes, grab a tasty lunch at their restaurant, and then go and play another 18 holes. Course was in good condition, greens looked good & the bunkers where in excellent condition. I understand that the course will be closing for the summer months while they replace the greens & remove some trees. Go play it before they close for renovations.

Greens and pace of play was good. Course wasn’t in good shape overall.

Greens are excellent. I'd like to see the par 3 tee boxes in better shape, but other than that, great course for all skills.
