Son brought friend for a first round.
Fun. Friendly. Decent course. My son brought a friend along to play his first round. We all had fun and fellowship. My son's friend learned quite abit about the game of golf without feeling pressured.
I took the time and effort to write a lengthy review, but when I hit submit it said that because I used the $ sign in the price I paid question it wouldn't go through or let me correct it. Faulty software
Solid, short course. Great value
Greens are in great shape. Most of the fairways are in fair condition and have the “Sandhills clay/dirt” which are tough to play off of. The pace of play and value were excellent. Amenities and clubhouse are minimal but for the value, who cares. Will revisit.

Singles aren’t welcome
Didn’t get to ply. Pulled up and parking lot was half full. Every time I’ve tried to play as a single they won’t make tee times and tell you to show up. So I came out. Drove 30 minutes. They wouldn’t even attempt to accommodate or let me out, or even pair me with another group. There was no one on #1 tee and several greens had no groups. I’ll never waste my time again.
Solid Value!
This was my first time playing Sanford Municipal and we got a very generous Golf Now coupon code to play. I was impressed by the tree-lined fairways and above-average condition of the greens. This is a great bargain at regular price (about $40) and an absolute steal with the Golf Now Hot Deals and coupon codes. We will definitely be back!
Great Value
Great course fir the value not much with on-site amenities since they were under construction.
