Fun Layout
Got this course right after a storm so conditions were very soggy with hardly any rollout.
Great course for those who like to spray it around. Feels like it favors a right hander who cuts the ball.
Decent elevation change and a fun course to go try and attack.
Cart Fee for Non Playing - Rude Starter - Bunkers Meh
I'm writing a negative review mostly based on hospitality. I will never understand why a course charges a cart fee for a non playing partner. It's a pooooor marketing decision.
The starter was incredibly rude.
The bunkers were really hard firm sand.
I did enjoy the overall layout of the course and found the greens to be in decent shape, but I just do not like rude people that act like they're the customer and I should be serving them vs. the other way around.
Worth a play
Decent course, terrible pace and greens could need some work.
Staff
The staff here hates Golf Now. Don’t know the arrangements but the man behind the counter had
Nothing good to say about you which made me uneasy. Hence the low rating on the staff. Otherwise very peasant. Jim at the bar was great as well as the starter
Another fine afternoon at Chapel Ridge
Too bad that the cheapskates (like me) played so slowly that we did not finish 18 holes. But never mind, for that low price I will always play there. The course is still one of my favorites!
Must play in the Chapel Hill/Pittsboro area
Chapel Ridge always delivers a pleasant golfing experience. Only course condition negative are the traps. They need work.
Great course to play
Great course, challenging but fair. Greens are in excellent condition.
Nice Course
The course had a really nice layout. Open and a bit long but very fair. Greens were in great shape and were fast.
The guy who checked us in was not very friendly. Maybe he had a long Saturday night or didnt adjust to the time change very well :)
Honestly I am glad I got a discount with my golf pass. $87 is a little steep for this course. Will definately play it again at a discount.
Excellent course - A must play
Course was in fantastic shape. Greens rolled smooth and true. Beautiful layout with lots of scenic holes.
