worth the trip
greens in good shape. course was in good condition considering winter months. from Canada. a course like this would cost 200.oo plus up here. paid 32.oo hot sale
Club house is awesome, range is nice. Course in good shape for the winter. Overall pretty happy
Very beautiful and forgiving!
First time playing this course. Crazy good gof for the money. Greens were quite nice. Fun layout. Very well maintained.
GPS enabled carts with hole layout.
Friendly folks.
Love this place.
Played in December when leaves are gone and things are brown, but it was still in VERY good condition.
I'll definitely play again.
Peak season greens in December
I’m not sure how they have done it but the greens are better than some at peak season here in December. It was freezing cold so we only hit a small bucket between both us to warm up. The driving range is pretty big and several flags to aim for. The range balls were like new so I enjoyed that. Once we got to the first green we realized how well the greens are. Thinking they be slow and slightly frozen we were not expecting much. Boy was we wrong. The staff was super friendly and plenty to choose from at the club house and bar. We will be returning hopefully to try this place out in warm weather. I highly recommend this place if you haven’t tried it out. I forgot to mention the layout is very fun and not at all crowded.
carolina blue skies
We dressed for the cool weather, but it was a Carolina blue skies warm Nov. day! Course was it great shape. And the staff was on their A game. There were a few leaves on the course, which made finding the ball a little hard at times. But we were not pushed by the 4some behind us. I wish my game was better! Will play again... It was a great place for old friends to meet up.
Greensboro National is a great course that’s challenging with fast greens. The amenities and staff are top notch. I will be definitely coming back!
Course is over priced.
I play here only when I get a hot deal on senior rate. Their regular price is too high for the conditions. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are great, but areas on edges of some fairways are rocky, or full of roots or thick uneven rough. The sand traps don’t drain but hold water like a bowl until water evaporates which could be days in the fall and winter. A $75 course should be better, see Bryan Park about 10 miles away.
First Impression
Course was in excellent shape. Challenging but a high handicap golfer can also enjoy without frustration. Chris up front with carts and bag was outstanding with support and information. The starter Ron Beaver, was outstanding in his knowledge of the course and advice. Checked on me during the round and at the end. I will be returning.
Nice Golf Experience
The layout at Greensboro National was interesting. The course condition was up to the task of some difficult holes. I would recommend that you play the course. Next time I am in Greensboro I'll play it again.
Awesome Round
Great layout that is challenging but fair. Nice Staff and practice area. Definitely will go back
Truly satisfying
The greens are exquisite, and the entire course is I immaculate condition. Best round of the year.
Course is Over Priced
There are several courses within 15 miles of this course that are a much better value.
Currently the fairways are greens need to be cut. Course looks beautiful but is playing way too slow and long. Even when course is in better shape, it’s over priced.
Poor Course Conditions
We played on a Sunday morning and the greens looked to have been aerated a week or two prior. Regardless, the aeration holes were largely healed but the greens were so slow and bumpy they were essentially unplayable. I am very surprised the superintendent does not have a small crew to mow, or at the very least roll the greens on a weekend morning during prime golf season. The rest of the course was in fair to poor condition.
Overall, the layout offers some potential, but course conditions are so bad that the course is not worth it. There are many better options in the Greensboro area,
