Great course, greens were in perfect condition along with a world class driving range and staff!

We had an afternoon tee time, a 2some following 3. We played in under 4 hours, greens were a touch hairy but it was the end of the weekend and I made a 50 footer so who am i to gripe.

Haven’t been out here in 10+ years but it was as good as i remember, the new management has only been beneficial.

Bar staff and cart girl Leanne were top notch, made our whole day.

Totally enjoyed the different hole designs and challenges. One of the best courses I’ve played. Definitely a steal for the buck!!

Slow slow play 5..25 hour not a very helpful or friendly staff. Kitchen unorganized and under staffed. Corse in good condition and playable

Visiting the area from out of town and National was recommended, glad we took them up on the suggestion. Challenging but fair. Course was in great shape. Staff was super friendly and the pro, Bruce, took the time to chat with me a bit, which was quite helpful. On my short list to play again in Greensboro area. Hopefully I will get a chance before we depart.

Course was in great shape but there were a few things that irked me and my group. No carts allowed in the parking lot so either carry your things up or use the bag drop. The starter was very rude when it came to pace of play. Standing on the tee of 1 and 4 minutes before tee time and he immediately started in on how we’re playing slow.. we hadn’t even teed off yet. They then claimed that there was a tournament starting at 12pm.. but GolfNow had tee times available up until 4pm. The starters and Marshall’s will sit and watch you tee off, and then follow you down the fairway just to tell you it’s cart path only. My group can read the screen just fine. I just think the staff are a group of older men who have nothing else better to do other than fuss at people who just want to play a round of golf with friends. Not everyone is out to damage your course or purposely play slow.. I don’t know if my group will be back to Greensboro National.

Staff was great. Driving range was impressive. The greens were large, rolling and in fantastic condition. Some of the low lying area looked worn or maybe storm damaged. A couple of blind shots that I’ll play differently next time.

Great golf at a good price on a beautiful piece of earth.

First time playing this course. Clubhouse- very nice. Staff- very nice. Driving range in good shape and grass tees. Course in good condition and like most places needs warmer temps to grow grass. Layout is very open, hard to lose a ball. Water is present but easy to avoid. Greens are in great shape and very fast and not flat, loved them even if I didn't putt well. Disappointed in pace of play, waited on nearly every shot. No ranger seen to speed up play. This is not a walking course, lots of distance between greens and tees. Lots of water coolers on course, not all courses do so and a plus.

The course was in great shape. The facilities were good and the pace of play was decent. I have never seen the course in this good of shape. It’s a great course for a decent price.

Fairways were in rough shape - dirt patches the size of parking lots on some of them and very thin all around. Sand traps had no sand - raked clay. Tee boxes had broken tees and cigarette butts all over. No restrooms on the course just a porta potty at one point. Staff generally rude and grouchy.

Always enjoy Greensboro National as it has a good variety of holes where you will use all your clubs without being too punitive on missed shots. Greens in good shape but grass on tees and fairways still sparse with lots of bare spots and still dormant Bermuda. A number of other area courses are further along in grass coming out so hopefully we’ll see some improvement in the next few weeks.
