Reall enjoyed playing this for the first. Will definitely play again.

Would have been all stars but recent aeration to greens, lots of sand. Will be back once greens are healed. Also look forward to playing in fall when leaves change color, beautiful backdrop with lake and several nice homes on the course. With large greens and fairly wide fairways was still able to break 80 from tips. Could have gone lower with smooth greens. Overall would definitely recommend playing here.

Best course I have played in North Carolina. Up and down and nothing really level outside of fairway. Greens were fast. Staff great.

Always enjoy Greensboro National. Greens a bit beat up with ball marks, but still running well. Please fix ball marks! Fairways and tees all good. User friendly layout with a variety of shots required. With bad weather not far , course was almost deserted, so we moved around quickly.

I am a long time Greensboro resident, and member over at Starmount Forest- and I just had to come leave a note for how fantastic this course is right now. Kudos to the entire staff for the great course conditions, playability, and ease of access with a great clubhouse setup. Truly a gem in the area, it's a place that makes you feel at home for the day. Great service, incredible food from the kitchen staff, and wonderful bartenders made this a fantastic day on the course. The greens are rolling very true, and are in great shape. A few tee boxes are a bit beatup (#4), but overall no complaints. This course makes you be strategic and not simply pull driver- a great mix of elevations and terrain, GSO National is a must play for any visitor to the area searching for a tee time!

Course in good condition for this time of year. Fairways a bit sparse, greens good, fast down grain. Picked a good time to start as there were few players out in the afternoon. Finished in well under 4 hours.

there was heavy rain the night before, but the course is still very much playable, some watery spots but I would say better than most courses under that weather. Greens are very nice and speedy for how wet it is. layout is excellent, and we hope to be back when the weather is better.

Always love playing this course. The best course around and it’s so fun to play. The greens are great.

Our first time playing and it did not let us down. Most of the par 5’s were not reachable in two. Unless you really have a long ball, in the conditions we played in anyways.I hit it fairly long but only 18 was there a chance to make it with driver, 3 wood. Lots of rain but the course wasn’t so bad you couldn’t play. Seems to not hold water like some courses. The lay out was one of the best I have played. Dog legs on some tee boxes took driver out of play. Only thing, some of the pins where near impossible if you got above the hole. Greens so fast you would start with 2.5 feet and after tapping the ball it be 15 feet past. I like fast greens but boy the front pins got me most every time. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were supper friendly and the clubhouse was second to none. Couldn’t order from the gps screen I guess maybe the grill was closed but they had premade sandwiches and a great variety of drinks and beer. The range was pretty big with mats to hit off of. Also they had 2 practice putting greens. I will be back even with the hour 20 minute drive.

First time playing on a gorgeous December afternoon. The course is beautiful. The course winds through beautiful rolling hills north of Greensboro. There are some houses but they are mostly set back in the woods. It couldn't be more beautiful. There are only two parallel holes on the course, 9 and 18. The greens are the best I've played in the area. Even in December they were quick and true. They are tough. Lots of undulations and breaks. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful course. I'm not sure of the regular price for this course but I got a hot deal for around $35 for 18 holes and a cart with a 1:00 tee time. Course not very crowded possibly due to the threat of rain. Very clean course for this time of the season there were not a lot of leaves and I did not lose a lot of balls due to higher-cut roughs like you see on a lot of other courses. I would love to play this course in the spring to experience it in all its glory. I would value this course at around 100 to 125 per round but again I'm not sure of the normal cost. It would also be a very fair price at $125.
