Nice layout, well maintained, fair, great greens, very nice golf shop and superb bar

Second time playing this course this week. I've played a lot of golf courses and this course is as good as it gets for the price. Great layout. Also had a great lunch there after after golf.

Had a great time, lucked out with the weather. Course was in great shape, good bang for the buck, will be back soon

This course is a very good layout and fun to play. We play here several times a year when visiting friends in the neighborhood. The greens however have taken a beating this summer and are in horrible shape compared to other courses in the area from either disease, heat or both. No way they should be charging full rate to play here and it shows with the lack of players. Saturday afternoon and hardly anyone there. If they cant get the greens back they won't get anyone there to play. It's a shame with the great staff and amenities here. I hope for the beat for them.

I've played a lot of golf courses in the Carolina's including the Pinehurst area, and this has got to be one of my favorites now. I will definitely be recommending this to other golfer friends that didn't have the opportunity to play today. Course, proshop and grill were in immaculate condition. As Arnold says, "I'll Be Back!"

It's been 20+ years since I played this course. Lot more houses have been built!

As I remember, driving can be a little tight. If your drive tends to wonder, take the 3 wood. It won't hurt you!

Most of the tee boxes and fairways were in very nice condition. A few bare spots here and there, but 90% nice!

The greens are a different matter. We played Aug 25. Almost every green had damage, I assume from too much rain. Big splotches of no grass on the green. They had punched a few weeks ago, and they were pretty much recovered. But those splotches . . .

We love the course, but will not be back this year. I don't see the greens healing for months. Definitely not worth the $55 rate.

This golf course is my favorite golf course in the Greensboro area. It has a beautiful views as several holes circle a huge lake. I will continue to recommend this gem!

First, let me be fair. Greensboro National is a great course, typically in great condition. However, they have completely lost their greens. If the greens are in terrible shape how can you score? I have played several other courses in the area and the greens are in great shape. With Greensboro National being one of the more expensive public courses in the area one would expect a course in better condition. I would not recommend playing at this time. Once the greens have recovered Greensboro National is a worthy of play.

Our group stopped at Greensboro National on our way to Pinehurst last year and decided to do the same again this year. We found the course conditions better than last year, which were very good. Friendly staff, a Great price and perfect weather made for a Great day. We will see you again in the spring!

First time playing, and found this course in great condition. Held up with all the rain recently very well and only had 2 holes at cart path only. One fairway seems lost, but didn't take away from the great tees and greens and most fairways. Course was packed but pace was reasonable. Drink girl and Marshall checking in several times. I have a bushnell but the cart gps was a nice addition for a first timer. Great deal off teeoff

Very good layout and mostly in good shape. For the price being charged I would not expect to encounter the many areas in need of sodding. Yes it's expensive to sod but it would make such a visual as well as playability difference that would justify the price charged. Overall a very enjoyable golf course.

GN is a solid course. It's not overly challenging with bunkers or trees or even layout, but does have some strong holes.

The conditions were very good. Plenty of grass and the greens were full and rolled out well. Not fast but certainly not considered slow.

Sometimes they are a little pricey, but found a great rate on golfnow!

Beautiful holes, greens well kept, great course for the price. Staff at the pro shop, clubhouse were friendly and professional.

First time playing at Greensboro National. Really liked the course layout and design. The greens were somewhat slow in areas due to aeration approximately a month ago, making it a little challenging trying to get the right speed from hole to hole. Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained. Although the beverage cart was not utilized, it was nice to know it was available.. Would definitely recommend this course.

I have never been so disrespected by a staff member checking you in to your tee time in all my life. I took the first tee time of the morning at 7:03 and got their 20 minutes in advance. I asked if I could pay and the response was we don't open until 7:00. I said really and then he went off on me. Not exactly sure why, but it doesn't make sense why you would open three minutes before your first tee time!

There are a lot of courses and needless to say, I will not be returning to this one! Golf Now, please take this one off your list!!!!!!!

Great fairways and greens! Just a bit of construction on a couple holes and the greens were really slow. Great day on the course overall though!

This is a very nice course with really friendly staff. The layout is challenging but fair. It's long enough but not so much that a fair tee shot 240 yards, leaves more than a mid iron in. The greens are large so lag putting is a premium if you miss the stick. Overall highly recommend the course
