Greensboro National Golf Club

Staff was great. Driving range was impressive. The greens were large, rolling and in fantastic condition. Some of the low lying area looked worn or maybe storm damaged. A couple of blind shots that I’ll play differently next time.

First time playing this course. Clubhouse- very nice. Staff- very nice. Driving range in good shape and grass tees. Course in good condition and like most places needs warmer temps to grow grass. Layout is very open, hard to lose a ball. Water is present but easy to avoid. Greens are in great shape and very fast and not flat, loved them even if I didn't putt well. Disappointed in pace of play, waited on nearly every shot. No ranger seen to speed up play. This is not a walking course, lots of distance between greens and tees. Lots of water coolers on course, not all courses do so and a plus.

The course was in great shape. The facilities were good and the pace of play was decent. I have never seen the course in this good of shape. It’s a great course for a decent price.

Fairways were in rough shape - dirt patches the size of parking lots on some of them and very thin all around. Sand traps had no sand - raked clay. Tee boxes had broken tees and cigarette butts all over. No restrooms on the course just a porta potty at one point. Staff generally rude and grouchy.

Always enjoy Greensboro National as it has a good variety of holes where you will use all your clubs without being too punitive on missed shots. Greens in good shape but grass on tees and fairways still sparse with lots of bare spots and still dormant Bermuda. A number of other area courses are further along in grass coming out so hopefully we’ll see some improvement in the next few weeks.

I was pleasantly surprised by this course although it took me half an hour to get there from Greensboro. Worth the drive! The course is in excellent shape and I think it lives up to their motto that it's a public course with acountry club feel . Quite a variety of hole designs. You start out thinking it's an easy course and then there are some challenges. No.. 10 is a great par 5: a blind tee shot to a downhill layup near water to access a green tucked to the right behind trees. The greens were in great shape and faster than what I've been playing around here. The course winds it's way through homes but the fairways are generally wide and the lots are big so you really never feel like youre playing among houses, or in danger of hitting any of them. The grill is very pleasant with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the 18th hole and daily specials. Met the new GM and he is determined to make it an even better destination. Highly recommend.

The course was nice but stacked up and slow. Saw the drink girl one time on the first hole then never again! Tried to buy drinks and food at the turn but super slow and no organization at the bar! Fun course but no drinks!

Excellent course, challenging but fair. Would be nice for some on course restroom facilities and I’d like to play it when Bermuda is not dormant.

Excellent service, great management of play, great condition. Needs more restroom facilities on course.

Its been about 20 years since I played Greensboro national it went downhill for awhile but a friend told me they had new owners and it was in great shape and he was right great layout and great shape if you stopped going need to go back it worth it

Great place to play. My only disappointment, we were not informed the greens were aerated and top-dressed just days before we played. We found out on the practice green. Otherwise, love the course.
