Good Value
family friendly course. I enjoy going to Pascal to get out and swing the club. I have seen improvement of this course over the last year and a half as well. Guys are doing a good job.
Garbage
Better off going to a driving range. Also they said they are trying to cut out golfnow.com...their rate after that..$25-$30!!! The rate golfnow offers for them is even a stretch.
Course needs work
They need to work on their fairways - The greens are Bermuda and could be better
Don't sell this course short
OK, the fairways were not in good condition, but the greens were good. They were reasonably fast and putted very true. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. Don't sell this course short. It was a fun experience.
Value course for beginners!
Considering I was able to play 9 holes for $6, I am pleased! Sure there were some spots that could use improvements, for instance, there aren't any yardage markers that I could tell, and some more food and refreshments would be nice. It is a 9 hole course, but surprisingly has 6 par 4 holes and even a par 5! If you are looking to go hit around, and want to take your kids out to learn the game, I definitely recommend this course.
Good Old School course for families
I played 9 holes today with my 12 year old daughter. It was my first time playing Paschal. It is an old school course, as in open since 1917 with only 4 bunkers. As old school as it comes. While it is relatively short, it does have some interesting and fun holes. It is a great place to have fun playing with your kids. You're not going to Paschal to work on your score, so don't complain about the small greens where the grass is a little longer and the grain a little bumpier than more high dollar courses. It has an enjoyable layout that you can share with friends and family without paying over $300 for a foursome. This would be a great course for new players to learn and develop their game.
Quick Friday Round
Played with my son on Friday afternoon last minute. There is no difference between fairways and rough. Both are cut same height and overrun with weeds. The only identification of tee boxes are the faded markers; other than that you tee up on a patch of crab grass. Greens are a joke and need TLC.
Abysmal Course Conditions
I have no doubt that Paschal Golf Course was great back in its hay-day. That hay-day, however, has long since passed.
From the moment you arrive, you can see the lack of resources available to the staff. The tee boxes are in terrible shape and the fairways and the rough blend together so seamlessly, both in type and length of grass, that you cannot determine whether you are in one or the other. The greens are the worst I've every seen and are actually missing large patches of grass, making putts impossible to read since the ball skips and hops as it rolls over patches of grass and dirt.
Slow but fun
Today was a slow pace day but everything else was good. Teamed up with people in front of me and had a great time.
Slow today but fun
Had a great time today, the course conditions were good. The pace seamed slow because of a lot of walkers. I believe it was senior citizens discount day, no joke. I took my time, talked to everyone and had a great round of golf.
Great time
This is a great beginner to advance course. The design is good and present some challenges.
I'll Play it again
Fun course, but only 9 holes. Some greens were in need of attention. good course for the money.
Needs a now
Great value but conditions need attention- shop manager could not have been nicer - but I don't think one fairway was mowed - sea of clover flowers - offered a different challenge
Philip Wilkinson
Good place to hit balls. Better than going to the driving range, for the price.
Score on a piece of history!
Least expensive 9 holes I've played in a long time! Staff was extremely friendly and genuinely excited I had come to play their course.
This 9 hole course where Arnold Palmer played college golf was a great value. The course is very well laid out. Its short, no sand, with only a few water hazards. I was able to put down my best 9 hole score in years!
Sure, there is clover and the greens aren't perfect. But for the money, there isn't a better round of golf out there.
Cow pasture
What a dump, only a 9 hole course and very poorly kept. Paid for 18, left after 9
Nice if you wanna play a cheap round
Conditions are fair, not as well maintained. However it was the first round of the year. Cheap round, friendly staff. Slow pace of play.
Good price
The pace of play is excellent. The greens are in at best. If you are trying to get a quick round in this is your place.
