Beautiful Track thru the Woods
Loved this course. Deep in the woods and tight fairways but in great conditions. A gem and in good condition.
Very Nice Golf Course
I was a perfect day in November with temperatures in the 60's and the course was fun. There were many fallen leaves in the rough but the fairways and a short distance off the fairways were pretty clear. The greens were in very good condition and the staff was great.
The pace of play was very good because not many were playing until we got to the last four holes. We had a threesome that slowed us down with one always loosing his ball in the leaves.
I would recommend this course and would love to play it again when I come back to Arkansas.
Gorgeous course
I really liked this course! Very scenic and in great shape even in the fall. Doing a nice job of keeping the falling leaves in check. Not as long and hard as I was expecting knowing it was a very hilly course.
Great greens
The course was in outstanding condition in the middle of summer. The greens are the best I’ve played in NWA. Staff super friendly and a fun track.
Highlands
Really liked the course - front nine is a little tighter off the tee, but the back is great - loved it! Course has gentle rolling terrain and no severe elevation drops. Greens were overseeded and the rest of the course was dormant, but they ran true and the fairway lies were good. The bermuda rough was long in a few places, which tends to each your ball and make it hard to find unless you walk or drive right over it.
My only complaint is that when we arrived, my wife and I are were literally one of the first ones there. We had a tee time but were 1/2 hour early, but the starter made us wait until a twosome with a tee time just ahead of us arrived and teed off before he would let us, obviously perceiving ALL woman golfers to be slow. We stayed right on behind them and played in 3 hours, often waiting for them for short periods on the greens.
Would recommend this course if you are in the area and want a nice place to play with both challenging and fun holes.
