Old School. Tree lined but playable
For the money it’s fantastic. Small greens. Excellent sand traps, Greens 7.5/10 but nice old school. Rough is rough. Fairway nice. Have fun.
Very nice place
The course was very nice could not believe the pace of play fabulous quick play everybody moved. The only recommendation I would make is they put a sign out in front of the building that you have to go all the way back behind the building and the restaurant and everything else to get to the Pro Shop cuz there was no sign so you're just walking around other than that loved the course and when I'm visiting again I will play there again!
Wonderful course.
This was the first time my wife and I played at Willow Springs. The course was in great shape and the staff and other golfers we encountered were a real joy to talk to and deal with. The overall atmosphere was great. Look forward to playing here many more times.
Overall experience was good
The only problem I had was the Golf Now system did not connect to the courses system, meaning my name was not on their system for the tee time I reserved. The pro shop employee was a little frustrated with the lack of communication between systems. He did let me play I just had to show him the email I received from golf now with the confirmation number showing that I paid and the tee time information.
Nice course a little beat up, but nice
A nice course to play, challenging but not too much. Quite open and spacious. Rough was real thick and some of the greens could use some attention. But all and all a quality course to play.
Nice course but Tee boxes make most holes impossible
The tee boxes are just so hard you can’t put your tee into the ground. Kind of ruins a lot of holes on a pretty nice course
Course was extremely dry. Has not rained for a while and it is starting to show.
Nice classic layout
Nice old classic treelined layout. greens were bumpy, but that's bermuda. Only complaint were cups were old and grown over. I need all the 4.25" I can get. Can't tell about the bunker conditions, never got in any.
Excellent Greens
Fairways and greens were in good shape, AND the sand bunkers were like real SAND!! VERY PLEASED

100 year old course we play 1/2 dozen times a year. For a mid April round, course was maturing well.. Straight forward but lengthy par 71 .. Cant wait till it greens up more over the next several months.. Played in 3 hrs 15 minutes.. 3-some & it was busy..
A basic country tract
Not much to this course. Flat, up and down straight holes and very little breaks in the greens if any. A good place to warm up for the season if you are rusty and just want to get some swings in to build your confidence without losing golf balls.
