Course was in prime condition with brand new greens.
Well worth the wait for the greens being redone. The course had plenty of time to improve with less play while the greens were growing in. Now, it in incredible condition and an incredible value.
Phenomenal greens.
Greens have come in impressively and through the green is awesome, as well. Best condition it's been in for many years.
Course greens were under repair
Unfortunately greens were under repairs. Pretty much all holes were short game. Not a good feeling
Greens being renewed.
This course has always been great. They are putting in new and better greens, however I wasn't notified before booking through golf now. Other than the greens the course was in good condition. I played nine holes and just couldn't keep going. Call ahead and see if greens are completed.
Burnt and dead
Course is in horrible shape. Never been that bad. Atrocious now.

Best public course in Eastern NC
Ive been playing wedgewood for the last decade, some years more frequent than others but thats not a reflection of the course. In that time the course has really improved. Its the only course that you will find green fairways in Feb/March. The greens are in pretty good shape to be a city owned public course. No its not a NCAA D1 championship quality, but for the money you wont find better in the area, and they are about to completely redo the greens so i can only forsee it getting better. All the staff are very nice and laid back, helpful. You will certainly enjoy your round here, and if you are local, it is likely to quickly become your favorite course!
Great value
This course is great to work on your irons. The greens were okay. Three is alot of good holes that you can go after the flag.
