Great Value in the Country
Read about this course as a good value muni! It did not disappoint! The Fairways were in good shape and greens in great shape. Course was busy but pace was decent. Staff was friendly. Only negative was lack of starter ensuring people were paired and limit singles. It would have helped flow..

This course ticks all the boxes for anyone looking for a great value in a public course. The value of the low greens fees is enough for you to give it a shot !
Great Value !
Wedgewood is a public course with excellent greens. While there may be a few weeds and bare patches here and there, the greens , tee boxes and fairways are always in great shape. The pace of play has always been very good.
Wedgewood - the gem of Wilson
Play this course!!! You will love it, guaranteed. The ONLY issue they have is with pace of play. 8 minutes between tee times is not enough for some players, so you will be rushed and waiting at the same time for most of the round. But the course is beautiful. Already lush fairways that are properly cut and the greens. Words don't do them justice. Some long par 5's, a couple of drivable par 4's and a pair of par 3's over water to make it challenging. You will not be disappointed. The cost is around 30 weekdays and seniors over 55 can get 5.00 off. You will not find a better course for the money, anywhere. Don't take my word for it though, go see for yourself! You are welcome

Course is in fantastic shape for this time of year. The fairways are coming in nicely and the greens were smooth. Excellent value for this course. Pace was a little slow due to a frost delay. Looking forward to playing again here.
Worth the price because price was low
Basic backa nd forth routing. Greens are good. Staff welcoming enough. Just a boring round of golf. Not really bad condition wise just nothing to keep you coming back unless you're a local wanting to pay a lower price point.

One of the best courses in eastern NC. Great price.
Course was in prime condition with brand new greens.
Well worth the wait for the greens being redone. The course had plenty of time to improve with less play while the greens were growing in. Now, it in incredible condition and an incredible value.
Phenomenal greens.
Greens have come in impressively and through the green is awesome, as well. Best condition it's been in for many years.
