Great day outside
Lots of leaves and pine straw in the fairways, but beautiful course and excellent value.

This is a decent layout and was in decent condition. Their greens are pretty good though a touch on the slow side. Overall a very good value and I would definitely recommend playing.
Relaxing Saturday Afternoon
My son and I have played this course many times , it’s always a fun time. The course conditions have always been great, always well kept and manicured. Greens are always in good shape, staff takes good care of the course. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this course, layout is fun and also challenging. We plan on returning many more times in the future.

I like to play Maccripine at least once a year, although I'm a member at another course about an hour away. I enjoy the course, layout and especially the value through tee times hot deal is hard to beat.
However, I was a little disappointed this year in the course conditions. You are never going to get country club conditions at Maccripine, which is fine considering you are also not going to be charged CC rates.
This time sub par course conditions were really noticeable. By this time of year the fairways should be lush and full of grass, especially after all of the rains in July. However, in many cases fairways had little to sparse grass. Do they do any maintenance on the fairways? Greens were recently aerated, so made putting difficult. Do they aerate the fairways to help them grow?
This may seem odd based on the last observation, but on the par 4's and 5's the grass from the tees to the fairways was really high and should have been mowed better. There are large areas at Maccripine that have a lot of land and it looked like they just didn't get to the mowing on some of these holes.
Finally, cart paths had old pine cones littered everyone on them, that should have been removed by now. It looked really sloppy. All these things together made it look like maintenance is lacking, they do bare minimum or don't have a large maintenance budget or staff. It may be that I'm spoiled by my home course conditions.
If you are one where course conditions are more important than green fees, then Maccripine may not be for you. However, if you are looking for lower green fees, these maintenance issue probably won't bother you.

The course was in excellent condition and the greens were wonderful ...true but fast and the Staff was friendly....will be back!!!

Course has a good layout
The price was great ! The course was really wet. Tree limbs were cut down Al around the course. But overall with the price, a good day of golf
Birthday Golf
My son and I decided to play a round of golf for my birthday and Maccripine was the course I chose. This was about my 5th visit to this course, staff is always friendly and helpful, course was in great shape considering the weather we’ve had lately, greens were in very good shape. Shot my lifetime best 71 so I’d say it was a great day at Maccripine. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Considering the time of year the course was in great shape and the greens are big and well maintained. Pace of play was great and we were able to take an extra challenge putt on each green . Back nine definitely more difficult!
