Does need some work.
Greens were fantastic, but the fairways need some work. Needs some cleanup, lost a few balls in the leftover leaves. I'll go back after the spring to see if it's any better.
Not worth it !!!
I worked at this course in the late 70's when the city of Cleveland ran it, at least the city knew what they had, which is a public course maintained not for wanna be pros but for the average duffer who still likes to play golf and not feel intimidated. The metroparks have some very nice courses that are well designed and maintained, this is not one of them. Turning a nice parkland style course into a tightly cut course with waist high grass ten yards off of the fairway is a travesty. The metroparks would be better off letting this course grow into parkland, and reopening Acacia CC a Donald Ross course that they just acquired, instead of turning that into parkland and destroying a great classic layout as they plan to do.
This course needs talc
Course is getting better but still needs a lot of tlc. Fairways need to be leveled. Too many mogos
