Bumpy Ride
Put a seatbelt on you cart, the cart paths are the worst i've ever seen.
The greens are not in good shape either.
Needs lots of work
Course was very wet and should have been cart path only as we watched numerous carts barely make it around the course, cart paths were atrocious. Unrepaired ball marks on every green tried to repair as many as I could without holding up play. No rangers to insure pace of play.
Year Round Course
I played here in December. They were one of the only courses in the area that were open, which was nice. Course was in good shape considering it was the offseason. Looking forward to playing in the spring!
Fun Course!
I love coming to Briarwood! It's my favorite local course. The staff is friendly, drinks are reasonably priced and the course is challenging.
Nice course
this was my first time playing. nice little course with a few challenging holes. staff was friendly
ok
Course was in good shape considering the time of year. Grass was good, leaves kept up. Was raining and when I asked for a towel to wipe the golf cart seat, he said "look outside in the shed for one". Well the shed was falling down with no windows , so the one towel I found was wet. Some round up and paint and yardwork outside the staging area would go a long way. Inside clubhouse was nice. Overall an ok place to play but could be a great place if someone put some energy into it. I got a hot deal on playing but would never consider it at full price.
The course with houses
I really like the layout of the course and the overall look. But the cartpath is absolutely ridiculous. Needs a lot of work.
Pace of Play? What’s that?
Course conditions are rough, but to be expected when playing at the end of the season. Bunkers on the back 9 are in much better shape and not waterlogged like the front 9 was. Pace of play is absolutely non-existent. No starter, so they don’t pair you up with anyone if you’re a solo like me. However, they let a group of SEVEN go in front of me and they did absolutely nothing to mitigate the abysmally slow pace of play. 9 holes took 3 1/2 hours. No ranger to enforce the pace of play. I wouldn’t advise playing here if you want to have a round done in 5 hours or less.
Good for the money
Good course for the money. Gets a lot of play. No one fixes ball marks in greens and the cart paths are very rough.
Briarwood course review
Course is pretty beat up. Cart paths are destroyed and the fairway and greens aren’t really taken care of. If you’re trying to just get out and play, it’s fine. Nothing impressive about the course.
Soft Greens - Ok Conditions - Backed Up
The course conditions were ok, the greens were really soft with lots of divots. There was no starter and it was very crowded. Ok experience. Nice Bar on the 19th
