Back nine
My favorite place to get a quick cheap 9 holes in. The back nine is beautiful, every hole is different in distance and design, and overall not usually too busy during the week. the course was very well maintained, and the staff is very polite. Easily going there many more times.
crowded.
I went on a Wednesday morning (9:55 tee) and I was surprised how crowded it was. Lots of older retired folks. They kept letting me play through, it seemed like they didn't want me to pair up with them for whatever reason, which is no big deal, but I ended up playing through about 4 groups. By the time I got to 12, the course was all mine, so I had a really enjoyable day.
A Hidden Gem!
Pleasant Hill is a hidden gem that I wish I had tried earlier. My friend and I played the front and back - enjoying it so much that we then played the front and middle. 36 holes total, and a great day!
The course has plenty of wide fairways for forgiveness, but numerous elevation changes, doglegs and a bit of water keep it interesting. It was in fine shape for an early spring round, but I will definitely be back soon once the trees are out to show off its full beauty. Try it. You'll like it!
Good bang for your buck
This is a course that you really can't say anything bad about. The greens are in good shape, the course is pretty well designed and the price is right. Lots of elevation changes. It's not pristine like a country club but that's not what they're trying to be. That's not to say it's not taken care of, it is. I recommend this course.
Fall weather in northeast Ohio
Had to wait for the frost but after it was gone had a great day. No delays and the staff was very friendly. Played an additional 9 holes seeing it's a 27 hole course. Each 9 is different which makes for a fun filled day.
nice classic style course
This is a good value course. It is a small family operation from what I can tell. The conditions were great and they were very friendly and welcoming. I played early and greens were already cut, fairways and tees were in the process of being cut. Some elevation changes add to the enjoyment of playing here. Its good for what it is.
Best shape I 've ever seen the course
Good course for the money using online tee time sites.
a hidden gem
front 9 very difficult driving into the sun early and the par 5 on the front driver + driver if you can cant wait to play it again Sal is awesome 27 holes play all in one day its fun
Great course!
I've played here a few times and have always enjoyed it. The greens were rolling quick and the tees and fairways were in great shape! Thank you to the staff there that could not have been any more accommodating as the tee sheet was full that day with outings. Even with that going on, we zipped around 18 holes at a good pace. We definitely will be back to play again!
nice greens
nice layout breezed through 18 done in 3.5 hrs would be back
Fun course but some issues
Played 18 in about 3.5 hours here. Course was fun and varied however the greens are quite small compared to other courses and some of the fairways are just beat up something fierce and in need of some severe maintenance. The par 5s here are really fun and have good veriety in design. Overall for the price we got on GolfNow I'd go back again but would t be my first choice. If your a novice like myself this course has water on only about 3 holes and sand on 1-2. Very novie friendly.
Course rough
There was no inter-mediate fairway and the rough was extremely high anywhere from 1 inch off the fairway and beyond. The greens and fairways were in very nice shape.
Nice course
We played on Sunday Afternoon and finished in3.5 hours. Not too difficult. Good value.
pleasant hill is a great value
A little bit of a drive for Cuyahoga residents, but still a tremendous value. Wide open layout on most holes won't punish you if you spray the ball right/left. Not the most challenging course overall, but at least 3 of the 27 holes contain hard doglegs that require skill and forethought. Plenty of short par 3s and 4s to score well on, however the few 5s are monsters (~600 yards). Conditions were great. Greens and tees were clean, fairways a little clumpy from cut grass, and the rough was pretty rough to play from. Overall great place I will play again.
Open pastures
The course overall was ok. It was booked with a hot deal so regardless it was a day of golf with friends and our commentary was the best part of the course. It is very open and easy to drive long bombs without haste of being on the woods. Greens played bumpy and 9/10 times you are headed directly for the whole and the last 3 inches are like a Hail Mary. Great course to just beat the ball to death off the tee but don't expect long putts to hold a true line.
Starter Course
This is a good course for the novice player, or those looking for an easier course. Most the holes are 370 and straight. The holes with doglegs, you are forced to layup with the course layout, so there is little risk/reward, just keep it in play and good scores will follow. Wasn't my favorite track, but if your local, it plays.
Great course for beginners and average golfers.
This course is user-friendly - great for beginners and average golfers. The back 9 is an open course, not too narrow, and is forgiving. The greens seemed a bit inconsistent as far as breaks & speed, and the course could be a little confusing because of its'27 holes. Otherwise, great, friendly customer service. would play here again!
decent
For $9, well worth it. 17 miles from my house, about 25 mins in the country. Good condition , probably due to the rainy summer. will go back.
friendly staff
course was in nice condition, they had 2 golf outings this day but kept the pace moving one before and one after having 3 9s really helped
