Exceptional customer service & an awesome course
Sal and his staff always provides exceptional customer service! The course while even wet from all of the rain was still in great condition. This course is a hidden gem!
In the country. A local course.
This is a course that local golfer will play. It is not a long course. There are 3 9-holes. It looked like the locals play the Middle & Back 9, where others get the Front and Middle 9.
Nice layout - Needs better conditioning
Layout is very good, except for back to back par 3's to end the middle nine. Back nine was closed for aerification, but also has back to back par 3's. Rough was very uneven and full of clover, which made it hard to find errant tee shots. Tee boxes were in need of water and some leveling, as it was hard to find a level spot to tee off from. More tee boxes need to be built as the red and yellow tees were together on nearly every hole, which is not what the scorecard indicates. Fairways were a tad on the high side, so much so that standing on the tee of many holes it was hard to discern where the fairway ended and the rough began. A good course for locals with reasonable rates.
Good location for me
Always treated like I'm family. Course is in good condition. It's in great location for me personally. I tell all my golf buddies to visit
Longone
Great course with a fantastic staff.
Course needs better maintenance
The fairways were ok. However the rough was all covered in weeds and the tee boxes were all covered in clovers. At least make the tee boxes nice. It's one thing to let the rough go but the tee boxes and greens should ways be kept up nicely. Also some holes you'd hit a shot and the ball would bounce straight up in the air. Other holes it would just plug up in the ground it was so wet. This course needs some work
No bunkers
We played in 2 1/2 hours -great! Course was in good condition as they have a irrigation system. Got great hot deal and played for $10 bucks and this made the round a great value and outing. The course is very easy and has no bunkers. You can put in a low score if you hit it fairly straight as it is wide open for the most part. I played several other courses while I was here visiting which were much more challenging and visually pleasing and fun.
Geauga's Beautiful Country
Pleasant Hills is a fun course with 27 holes, some hills, a little water, and some long par 5's. Greens ok fairways nice. Very friendly staff and service.
Back to back par 3's
Fairways and greens in decent shape. The rough needs help as its a mix of high grass, clover and bares spots. The layout is good though I'm not a fan of back to back par 3's. We got a great price for 18 holes to play that couldn't be passed up.
Awesome course and exceptional Customer Service (Sal)
I love this course. There are 27 holes so there is variety if you play there often. Sal and his staff provide exceptional customer service.
cut the rough
The roughs were "cut" to a long length. If the ball happened to land there, extremely difficult to find. Many of the teeboxes were in poor shape. I've golfed there several times and this was, by far, the worst condition it has even been in.
Playing in November front and Middle 9
The staff was friendly.. The course was in great shape..
Good especially if you get a deal
Course is in good not great shape but worth it if you get a deal or want to get in a quick 9. Great for beginners as you really have to try hard to lose a ball off the tee.
My only complaint was that a group of 5 was sent out two groups of my group and they had the entire course backed up. What should have been an under 4 hour round took over 4 and a half due to the wait. We did not realize this until hole 16 but a ranger should have split them up as there was no one in front of them.
Staff was extremely friendly.
Always satisfied
Not my first time playing here. Overall, the course was in good condition. The fairways were in decent shape, although they looked as though they had been driven on in wet conditions. Greens were in good shape.
Staff there are always pleasant, and they do a good job starting me around other groups.
Good course.Great people.
You will need every club which is fun. Great staff and a fun course.
Cheap, but rough shape
I've played this course many times and it's never been a place you'd describe as a beautiful course or a course that is in great shape. However, it's always been fast-paced play and a great value. That hasn't changed, but course conditions are worse than before. We had such a good deal on the rate, but not sure I'd go back again considering there are many courses in better shape with similar deals to be had.
Course has 27 holes
It was is in good shape for as wet as it has been. We had the wetest June on record.
Too wet and soggy
The course has a nice layout but was in really bad condition. Wet, muddy, soggy. Even though there hasn't been rain in 4 or 5 days. Wasn't happy with the golfnow price either. Paid $25 for a Hot Deal when the regular price at the course was only $27.
Out of towner
First the staff is very friendly. The course I found to be okay not very challenging but fun. Hole number to is easy but the green is off to the left not a dog leg but hard to see. Tee boxes were ok. The greens were better. The carts are in good shape. Fairways as a whole were average some great other in need of tlc. Ruff a little thick. Bunkers in good shape. more of a driver than I expected this is East of city. I enjoyed playing however. The fairways appeared to be rye grass something I was not use to and I am not sure about the greens not bent or so I think. Would play again.
Back nine
My favorite place to get a quick cheap 9 holes in. The back nine is beautiful, every hole is different in distance and design, and overall not usually too busy during the week. the course was very well maintained, and the staff is very polite. Easily going there many more times.
