Berkshire Hills Golf Course

Enjoyed each hole till we got to the green. Greens were patchy and bumpy and very slow. I’d guess the greens added 10 strokes minimum to my terrible score.

Old gem of Chesterland, no where near being back. We played this course 2 yrs ago (2016) once it started coming back after the ownership changes. They stated it was in rough shape then & they we’re working on getting it back to the good old days. Zero improvement from two years ago. An outrage to charge ($45) for a course in such poor condition. Many greens missing grass, no sand in the bunkers and weeds on many tee boxes. For the conditions, this course should be $18 for 18 holes with a cart and lunch!! Sad

The backdrop of this course gives it the potential to be an absolutely gorgeous course but the course itself was in poor shape. Many of the greens was missing grass and the “nice” ones hadn’t beem cut nor rolled and were very bumpy and slow. Many of the fairways were in decent to good shape while some were in need of massive repair. To me, in this shape, this course was not worth $44. Fix the turf issues and I’d love to play this course again because it was beautiful otherwise.

Greens were very slow and almost all had many brown spots all over. Pace of play was terrible. Had to jump around between front and back nine to get holes in. Some groups (3 or 4) would not let single play through.

I like this cost a lot it’s great for the money you can’t beat it I’ll be back plenty of times with friends and family

Great layout but course has the worst greens in North East Ohio. Course is starting to become very run down.

Like walking in the park, very nice course and great value

The course should not have been open. The greens had standing water in places and were super bumpy. The fairways will have ruts for weeks. Although I paid for 18 I, gave up after 9.

Course was in that shape definitely challenging couple more years and I’ll be in great shape

Started playing this year for our work league and love it. Very up and down with tight fairways but a blast to play. If you’re on the east side of Cleveland this is a gem.

Booked as a single because I had a vacation day on Friday. Got paired up with a twosome of good guys and we all were around the same handicap and we all said the same thing: course is in great shape. For all the rain we have gotten in NE Ohio, they have done a great job of maintaining. Couple of roughs were long and had cut grass in them, but hey, keep it out of the rough and you’ll be fine!

Rain the day before caused problems with cutting the course. Once trim, it’s a fun track and one I played for many many years and will continue to visit.

I came in from Buffalo for Mothers Day weekend and booked a Hot Deal with some college fraternity friends. The course has a long history of excellence and it was in respectable condition considering the long winter. The greens were bumpy but the tee boxes and fairways were fine. The price was even better. It brought back a number of fond memories of playing with my Father and Uncles when I was a younger man. The staff is super friendly.

Well been a few years since I played here because I was turned off by the conditions last time I did...well gave it another try and I was pleasantly surprised by how far it has come the greens had good pace and the course was in good condition and there were signs of workers on the course working on it! I will be back
