About
Located just 35 minutes from Cleveland, Little Mountain Country Club in Concord is known throughout the area for its bunkers. Deep hardly begins to describe them and they border both the greensides and fairways. Although the cavernous bunkers are challenging, they are strategically placed to provide a challenge for better golfers but there is still ample room for less advanced players. The intimidatingly steep walls go as deep as 20 feet below the putting surface, they are enough to scare even the most seasoned golfers. The layout has diverse mix of holes that require the use of all the clubs in your bag. Little Mountain Country Club finishes with a dramatic par 4 that is one of the golf course's most difficult holes. The five-star-rated Little Mountain is well worth the two-hour drive from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

Awful condition
Been playing here for years worst I have seen I know that it was cart path only and course was soaked but the bunkers were full of rocks and the greens still have aerated holes. I hope it gets better soon was sad to see.
Over Sanded Greens
You ever feel like the course should be closed for a couple days/weeks so the course can recover? That’s what I felt everytime I approached the greens. Greens were all under repair and oversanded and plugged… Bunkers still uder repair from this time last year. Course is nothing like it used to be.

Poorly Treated by the Staff
We would not recommend Little Mountain. There are a number of reasons for this recommendation:
1) The cashier Steve was disdainful of us and treated us like we didn't belong at the course.
2) The bagboy also treated us with disrespect and treated us poorly as we approached the first tee.
3) The greens had recently been aerated and were extremely hard and impossible to hold our approach shots.
4) The course is in need of major reconditioning on a number of holes.

Beautiful course, but no yard markers, no GPS, no ball washers
This course is beautiful and interesting. I played it a couple times several years ago and I don't remember if I had the same complaints back then, but I felt like a few things took a lot away from the experience of golfing on a very nice course this time. I'm just a hacker who plays a few times a year and I don't carry range finder binoculars with me to find my yardage so I depend on being able to find sprinkler heads with the distance on them or at least poles in the fairway marking 100 yards, 150 yards, etc. My golf partner and I couldn't see anything marking distances, which obviously makes a difference in club choice. Sorry, but I'm not good enough to accurately tell the difference between 150 and 130 yards by sight alone. This could all be solved by having GPS on the carts, which I realize isn't very common in this area, but adds a lot to the experience, in my opinion. For such a nice course, I wouldn't think it's odd to have GPS on the carts. One more thing that bothered me is no ball washers on the course. I assume they had them before Covid and took them away like many courses did. Other courses added them back long ago though, what is Little Mountain waiting for? It's a pet peeve of mine to not be able to wash my ball.
If none of my issues with the course would be an issue with you, then I would recommend playing there. I really like the layout of the course and it's in very good shape, but with so many other good places to golf, I doubt I'll be back for another couple years.
