About
Located just 35 minutes from Cleveland, Little Mountain Country Club in Concord is known throughout the area for its bunkers. Deep hardly begins to describe them and they border both the greensides and fairways. Although the cavernous bunkers are challenging, they are strategically placed to provide a challenge for better golfers but there is still ample room for less advanced players. The intimidatingly steep walls go as deep as 20 feet below the putting surface, they are enough to scare even the most seasoned golfers. The layout has diverse mix of holes that require the use of all the clubs in your bag. Little Mountain Country Club finishes with a dramatic par 4 that is one of the golf course's most difficult holes. The five-star-rated Little Mountain is well worth the two-hour drive from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

It’s early
This course is a blast.
I absolutely recommend plaguing here.
That being said, the wet spring seems to have delayed the maintenance crews schedule a bit.
Some bunkers were washed out or packed with wet rocky sand. Some bunkers were perfect.
I’m guessing the bunkers that held excess water needed some extra time to dry out before they can be prepared for play.
All of the mowing has not been completed yet.
These are issues that will be corrected as the season matures.
The only problem I saw is there is no yardage markers out there. If you don’t have a laser, you’ll have to be really good at guessing distance. (All day long)
Very frustrating.
Hopefully they invest the resources to make this correction as it improves experience and pace.

Not maintained, No ranger, Poor golfers
This used to be a premier course and charged premier fees. There is hardly any grass on the fairways. Possibly for that reason they have aerated the fairways in SPRING!!! think about it. NO ONE AERATES IN SPRING. There were little plugs all over the fairways. Likewise the greens were punched and unputtable.
I would not recommend any serious golfers to play here..
The pace of play was atrocious. The group in front lost their ball, came back and HIT MY BALL.. We nearly got hit by golf balls and no FORE.

Love this course
I play it when I can when I am in town. Great greens. Cool layout. Lot's of birdie looks and some hard holes too.
