Hemlock Springs Golf Club

Hemlock Springs presented itself nicely despite recent drought conditions. The greens are well watered and run true- and there were few unrepaired ball marks (? conscientious members or meticulous family/staff ). The layout offers a golfer the opportunity to use every club in the bag. I found the course to be challenging, yet fair, and several tee choices allow for golfers of all abilities. There are no gimmicks, just a solid 18 with challenges that don't detract from the round. Put the ball in play and you can score well.
I met several of the friendly staff (course ranger, mower, green maintenance ) during the round and they were congenial, concerned about my experience and helpful. I didn't have time to enjoy a meal or use the practice facilities but from appearances I believe that I would be satisfied with both.
In the end I have to say this gem should be on one's golf bucket list. I plan to return sooner than later.

The red tees left a lot to be desired. The white tees were not much better. This detracted from the beautiful rest of the course. The greens were challenging but fair; they were in very good condition.

I have only been playing golf for just over a year. This was my first time playing 18 holes and I couldn't have picked a better course to play. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. It helped me relax and truly enjoy my round of golf. I will definitely play this course again!

Seen maitnence people a lot and that's a good sign and the greens were in good shape and to me it's all about the greens they had good pace and were nice and big...

Very nice course. Nice balance between challenge and playability. Conditions very good with nice large and smooth greens. Course manager was extremely friendly and took care of us getting us out during a large outing. Will be back again for sure!

This was my first time playing Hemlock Springs. I wish I had played here sooner. What a lovely course, so peaceful out here in Wine country. I would highly recommend this course! I will be back. Greens were in great shape.

Nice course. Some very fun holes. I play there a few times a year. Nothing big and fancy but some good golf.

If you are looking for a fun yet challenging course in Northeastern Ohio, then take a trip to Hemlock Springs. Home to the Geneva High School Men's Golf team, this beauty has what most would consider the "Amen Corner of Northeastern Ohio" and plays quite challenging. There are holes that challenge all handicap levels, but still plays very fair. Definitely a repeat course that I will be returning to with more guests.

I played this course three times this year which I usually play at least once a year. The course was in great shape all three times and the greens are the best in the area by far. The course has some challenging holes which require position and some distance. I would recommend this course.

Staff friendly course in very nice condition booked on golf now for very reasonable price would play again in a heartbeat

Played hemlock several years ago . It is much improved. Condition were very very good. Tee boxes are a little different. Gold, blue, white, and red. White and red are very close together. Started as a single and paired with two seasoned citizens on the third hole. Gents it was a pleasure. I will definitely return.

The entire course played great. It had rained a lot the night before I played and there was some mud as expected. Despite this carts were still ok anywhere on the course. The greens are nicely kept and will hold a ball on if it is hit right.

Course was in very good condition. Some nice touches have been added since I last played here a year ago. Golf Now rate was outstanding.

Haven't been here in a while! Course is in very good shape. Greens, although a bit slow, were very consistent!! Nice layout! Not too much local knowledge required to avoid pifalls. All tolled worth the drive!

The greens were in good shape but not recently mowed so they were very slow.

Great little track with more than friendly folks...owner is on site almost every time I've played. Andy is affable pro and check in is prompt and courteous. Kelley made me a superb tuna salad sandwich with all the trimmings I asked for...tomatoes and cheddar cheese. cocktails are properly poured and the price is right. Ashley finished off the 19th hole with us and her cheerful demeanor made it easy to forget the lousy way I played this very nice track. Enough trouble to challenge, but a lot of open fairways and the greens were immaculate. Highly recommend this facility for an enjoyable afternoon.
