Everything was great, first nice day of the year. But they squeezed in friends and employees in front of us. That led to a group of seven playing together. We all book tee time so this stuff should not happen
Basic and not worth the money
Very basic course layout. Back and forth hole layout. Management and Starters are clueless. I was told and sold 18 and a cart would be no problem. Sent me out on the back as a solo. When I finished 9 I was told it’s too busy now. My options were to play the back again or get a rain check. They didn’t try to fit me in with another group. Or send others out on the back first. Just very disrespectful. I will absolutely not be back to this course.
Nice Course, had fun.
play this course multiple times throughout the year and it is maintained well. Only issue (most likely for all courses with trees) some greens have debris and some fairways already have leaves on them (makes it hard to find the ball at times).
The staff
From the very beginning of arrival the starter had an attitude with our 2 some. This mind you this was a 10 am tee time on a Tuesday. He followed us out on the course and continued to push us. To a point on the 6 hole there was 3 groups on a tee box. Absolutely no need to push the pace like that. Then the 2nd starter told us on the 10th tee box this was not a time for instruction. It's a Tuesday. When can I help a playing partner? Saturday at 10am? What a terrible experience.
Home of the 7 hour pace of play
Course is poorly managed. Be prepared to spend your day here with the way they book the course.
Fun, Challenging, great service
The course was well maintained, challenging enough for a beginner like myself, and the service was top notch. Definitely coming back here soon!
Scenic views with some elevation and lots of trees
Played for the first time Labor Day weekend and course was in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were a little rough in spots due to volume of play but otherwise course was standing tall - fairways were cut and green, rough wasn’t too thick, sand was dry and very playable and greens were fast and true. Front nine is less challenging than the back, fairly open though if you miss trees on either nine will penalize you. Back nine was more dynamic with elevation and more dog legs and tighter fairways. Starter and rangers were friendly, pace of play was also pretty good. Overall I thought it was priced fairly. Will be back!
Storm day play
Thought this out of the way track would be somewhat sleeping but was hopping after storms closed other local courses. Track is tight, conditions ok but worth the $42 round. Don’t think I will make the 45 minute drive often but will likely return at some time
One of my favorite local courses but I’ll never play there on a Sunday afternoon again- pace of play was atrocious stacked up 4 groups deep on #1 at my tee time - well over 3 hours for front 9 then played thru a group at the turn while they were getting food so came in at 5 1/2 hrs. Nobody repaired ball marks on greens so I was disappointed. Weekday golf there is always a gem however
