A fun day with the guys
It was my friend's birthday yesterday so we decided to go out for a long drive to pheasant run. Since it was my first time, i had no idea what to expect. The greens were well-kept but a little bit slow. To me, that's not a big deal. I think if you play golf you should be able to adjust to fast or slow greens, and that shouldnt be what one bases their review upon. The fairways are not as low cut as most other courses, but I had no problems with finding my ball or having a bad lie while I was in it. There are a lot of challenging holes where you must decide to drive it short or try to go over or make it through some trees, and I love that. If you're playing against a friend it is always fun to have different options. The staff took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for our round, which made it better. The carts ran well, too. I had a great day out there and I can't wait to come again. I'm going to be on the lookout for the $10 for 18 holes on golfnow soon!
PHeasant Run
Excellent greens maintenance. Pace of play is very fast, which I particularly appreciate.
Note; fairly wide open, so does not present a lot of challenges.
Great experrience.
Inexpensive, easy course
My only complaint is very slow greens. Overall the course is well maintained for the price. Easy course which is great for beginners or golfers looking for a relaxing round.
Staff was friendly and the clubhouse was in good shape.
Great Value and friendly Staff
Maybe the best value in the area. Course was not the most difficult if you are hitting it straight however, many challenging shots and small greens make for a very fun round. Staff was awesome very friendly and as a bonus they have s very good beer selection for a golf course. I deffinately would recommend this course.
Solid Course
Friendliest and most helpful staff I've encountered. Awesome putting greens that are challenging and well-kept. Interesting course layout with some tough fairway bends. GREAT value through Golfnow, $12 for 18 holes and a cart. Fairways do need some work but all in all I would recommend this course to anyone.
Fun day
The course was not very busy so my wife and I were able to play at our own pace. With a fairly clear course we were able to play 18 holes in just over 3 hours.
Great Place to golf if you don't want to hit and wait
The People are always friendly
Great rates - Course is in very good shape
Lost a few balls in the rough
Always have a good time here
Nice place to play
Very good for the price. The course was well maintained and looked nice. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Open Course
Course is wide open, which is great for a round to keep the spider webs off the clubs. Beauty isn't plentiful, but then again, Lagrange doesn't have much to work with. Overall, not a bad course and it kept in decent shape.
Course was in great shape!
Tee boxes and greens where is the best shape I have seen anywhere all year. Fairways were playable but a little high. Needed mowed. Spoke to the owner and they have plans to mow right away. They were no different than any other course around and got behind due to the heavy rains in the last couple of weeks. Staff was extremely friendly. Owner introduced himself and took time to speak to us. Played early and had the course pretty much to ourselves. This is an awesome course! I will be back multiple times this year.
Course in nice shape.
Pretty flat but some water to make things interesting. Nice pace of play and the staff was excellent
Nice course great atmospher
First impression is excellent course for novice/weekend golfer. Fairly open and well taken care of, greens were large, fair and overall impressive. Only knock would be the sand traps were a bit rough and hard from previous rain. Would definitely play again and recommended to my friends.
aiming to please
My golf partner and I played this course for the second time recently. Once they got a chance to do more mowing (because of the large amounts of rain we had experienced) the course shaped up nicely. The staff is very friendly and professional. I would not hessitate to book another tee time there.
Pheasant Run - A friendly, fun value
From the minute I arrived, it was made clear that I was a valued customer. The staff was friendly, the course was in great shape and I had a very pleasant and quick round. I would call this an excellent value and will play it again tomorrow
Nice Place, Great Price
Booked a tee time from this website and was out on the tee box right on time. The landscape is very open, and the grounds were well kept. The course isn't very difficult, and I was able to get through it all in around 3.5 hours. The owner is very nice too.
Pheasant Run
Good course. Has challenging holes (esp if wind kicks up). Good value & friendly staff.
