Snow Hill Country Club

Great layout, loved the challenge of the course. I was disappointed with the dead patches in a lot of the greens. I had to "auto 2 putt" a few holes because i had to putt through several dead patches like my ball was sking through "moguls". Also there were some brown out patches throughout the course that this time of year shouldn't be present.

A fun course to play and really was probably something special during its "hay day, but the dead spots on numerous greens aren't acceptable.

Played here for the first time last week - love the course! A few of the greens had some bare spots but don’t let that stop you from playing Snow Hill. Beautiful layout with a nice combination of long tough holes and shorter holes that require precision off the tee. Best course for the money anywhere within 50 miles! Bring your A-Game especially for the par 3’s.

Have play there many times and have always been impressed. Only concerns this round where they let out 2 groups of 5 that we had to play thru which slowed my twosome down for a few holes, they did let us play thru eventually. The other with all the rain they have had the greens are in pretty bad shape but you can tell they trying to get them back to their normally exceptional condition. Will definitely be back when it drys out.

Found Snow Hill while looking for courses somewhat midway between Columbus & Cincinnati so a buddy & I could meet ~halfway. Snow Hill is closer to Cincy, but not a bad drive from C-bus. We thoroughly enjoyed our round and found the course in very good condition, save for the greens. The greens were a bit burned out, but still rolled pretty true. The course is challenging, but also forgiving...typical errant shots had places to land and still be playable. I can see another visit to Snow Hill for my friend & I.

Early season excellence. Perfect greens, fast and smooth fairways, punishing rough. Demands accuracy. We're going back even though we've traveled over 2000 miles to experience this great little track. Congratulations to the management and staffing. Great job.

Best golfing conditions for a reasonable priced public course

Went today for the first time. Course was well maintained, greens rolled true, tee boxes were in great shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the layout of the course with some challenging holes. My only knock would be that some of the tee boxes are confusing as holes share boxes. Also, driving range was not usable which made play a bit tougher early on in the round. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone and I WILL go again.

The course is very challenging and was in great shape. It's an old course with many holes where you really need to shape your shots.

Based on the price and the hype from Snow Hill's web page, I thought this course would be near-immaculate. It's not.

The course has a very nice layout and a couple memorable holes where the green is on a peninsula (nearly an island). I love courses that have at least 1 memorable hole, so this was a treat. The ponds were better than most because these had stone walls instead of being swamp-like.

All-in-all...it was a lot of fun and I would go back, but it is a long drive from where I live.
