Golf Club at Mansion Ridge

Always fun to play a Jack design. The course is fairly tight in spots with a good deal of elevation changes, especially 18. This adds some rewards if you hit it straight. The greens moved very fast, but easy to read. Only issue I had was the slow groups in front of us but that is the state of golf today.

Great course has everything you would want for a great day golfing. Corse starts out easy and gradually gets tougher. I would play back a tee box because didn’t seem to long for the yardage except for a few holes on the back 9.greens are quick but not crazy and the course was is fantastic shape.

I found tis course a few years ago and it never disappoints. the staff is always very accommodating. The course is always in fantastic shape including the greens. The fairways were in fantastic shape too. unfortunately not enough people repair their divots. I highly recommend this course fro great scenery and fantastic golf!

5+ hr round for $170-$220 was not fun. The groups playing around us agreed. For that much, you’d hope water was on the course, but there was none. Ball cleaners were dried up. No ranger present all round, so at one point, 3 groups were waiting on 1 hole. Can’t justify paying a premium for an experience like that again.

Course layout is beautiful loved it

I've played here for years but in the last couple of years the prices have been ridiculously high. I played with a friend for 90. Not a bad price so value was fair. However, conditions were very dry. Greens were good but some fairways, bone dry. Some tee boxes were a disgrace at $90, let alone $186 they get for prime time. Halfway house was open and is fine. Saw a cart girl - once maybe?

The most frustrating part was the 5 hour round. They just pack you in. All 4 in my group were good golfers that slowed our roll to adjust to the pace. 5 hours is just nuts - and on a course that can eat your lunch (my game stunk). Almost considered leaving after #14, a point I rarely reach anywhere else. Oh = and the sprinkler at the tee box on #10 that went off on the poor guys in two carts in front of us. They go soaked. Why are sprinklers going on at 4pm??

The course is very nice. Amenities were closed late in the afternoon to get a snack or drink.

Problem playing on Memorial Day was that the pace was running 30-45 minutes behind. We were told that it was because of something that happened at 9am. We came on at 3pm Should not have been backed up the remainder of the day unless they overbooked the course.

No rangers came out to move things along and a foursome was slowing things down on every hole as they were playing every shot and had distinctly different levels of players who should have realized as a courtesy they could have picked up.

Would liked to have finished the round but had to pull off at 14 as it would have been dusk by the time we would have finished.

By far the best course I've played in the past two years it even rivals country club courses that people pay a lot of money just to join

The rates are all over the place, seems like no rhythm or reason. Got paired work two guys that was a terrible experience.
