EC Challenge
Winter conditions were very good. Excellent turf cut. Only sand bunkers left un maintained( big deal)! Greens were smooth and pretty quick (~11-13). Driving range had mat tees with some adjacent natural turf tees.
Eagle Crest is one awesome golf facility
Eagle Crest Golf Resort is awesome! The Pro Shop staff and the on course marshals are professional and courteous! The course conditions are exemplary as well! Kudos!
Todays conditions
I play all Eagle Crest courses attleast weekly with family and friends and enjoy all of them esp for the value. Today’s greens were much too long though which made it very difficult and slowed the play with other golfers as well which made us stack up
Great challenge
Course was in excellent shape. Fun and challenging course layout.
Cart fees
$40 cart fee ($20pp) for old tired carts is ridiculous.
Fun Course
The Eagle Crest Challenge course was fun to play. Not too long, but lots of challenges with a high rough, lots of small hills, and devious sand traps.
Tee boxes
Tee markers not moved often enough, full of divots and shaggy. Rest of course in very good condition. Excellent greens.
Great day for golf,
If you’re walking. It’s a difficult walk with plenty of hills and valleys. For me a senior it was very difficult.
Even though it’s a short course I would recommend a cart.
Awesome
The course was beautifully manicured. In excellent condition, both fairways and green.
Challenge the challenge
Course was in very fine condition. Sand groomed and dry. First and second cuts well defined. On course restrooms clean. Sufficient on course drinking water stations.
Excellent greens
Very fun par 63. Great for us senior short drivers.
